> 3 dayIf you are going to be sitting right there with this heater, then it’s fine but I wanted to put it in a room to maintain the temperature but the lack of a thermostat prevented this.

06-06-2025I got one of these and within two weeks of nightly use it was done for. I had it plugged into a timer so it was running one hour per night from 10 to 11 and then one hour in the morning from 4 to 5. I was able to replace it since it was within the return time and the new one is dead within two weeks. This time it was not on a timer. Just plugged directly into the wall. I was sitting within 5 feet of it to warm my legs and it just stopped. Ive tried several plugs and nothing. I will be returning this unit and will not want another.

> 3 dayI bought this portable heater because our downstairs does not heat well. This is amazing at heating and has multiple nice modes to adjust. Problem is that it keeps blowing a fuse and I have to go outside to flip the breaker.

Greater than one weekI bought this heater as a Christmas present for a family where there was an ongoing feud about where to set the thermostat for the house. Dad was a warm-weather native, and the mom and daughter both preferred things colder. So dad got a space heater from me so he could roast himself to his hearts content in his office while the ladies layered on the sweaters in the 60 degree main parts of the house. For a small office (maybe 10 x 10 x 8), the reports I get tell me that it works just fine. I played with the unit a bit before I gifted it, and I wouldnt try to heat a large space like the very open and airy living room of my house. But I tried it in my own office (12 x 12 x 8), and it did just fine. Have realistic expectations that youre not buying a major HVAC system for your whole home, and be aware that you dont have as much control of the thing as you have with an actual home thermostat, and you should be able to make it work well for you. Three people have stopped arguing over the temperature in the house, and the fact that theyve moved on to their other grievances is a good sign that this thing works.
