> 24 hourI have never used a bit this long before. I was having some problems controlling it. I suspect control would come with time.

> 24 hourBought this bit for my circle jig and it did not last at all. Got about half ways of a circle (17”) and it snapped.

> 24 hourWent to make a test cut on a half inch thick piece of wood and the bit snapped within 30 seconds.

> 24 hourThis bit has served me well, use it on my cnc router. The price is very cheap for bits but the quality is there.

> 24 hourNeeded to create several 2 deep, 1/4 wide dados and thought this bit would do the job. Because this bit is so long I was concerned that the bit would be prone to breaking as some have reported. I tried a 1/4 deep pass (typical for shorter bits) but the chatter was too great. I reduce the cutting depth to 1/8 and chattering was still unacceptable and the dado cut was not clean. I finally decided, using 1/8 depth of cut to do a series of multiple plunges (ie used the bit like a drill bit) across the length of the dado (roughly every 1/4). This serves to hog out a lot of the material but puts no lateral stress on the bit. I then came back after the drill cuts and used the bit normally to remove the rest of the material. There was little to no chatter at this point as much of the wood had already been removed. It was slow and tedious but the resulting dados were flawless.

> 24 hourThis tool is a great way to get your idea onto a piece of wood and make it look great.

> 24 hourI needed this to CNC 1.75 inch thick glue up panels. At the time of this review probably have 100 hours on this but and its still working as well as the first day I used it.

> 24 hourQuick tip: There is No 1/4 bit at a 2 cutting depth should be taken full-pass, unless its foam. Pretty much any bit at that side-load will stress and break at full depth. Easy pass depths and slow feed rates are the only hope. I consider this a specialty bit when working on deeper materials, just for the reach- never full depth. For XPS Foam (80% air), works great!

> 24 hourI needed something with some length so I can use with my router and templates and this works great

Had a lot of DIY time
> 24 hourWorked great on the 1 1/2 inch mdf. Got the done. After the job the operator tried it on some 1 1/2 inch oak with out changing speed/feed. He got 2 of the 6 3/4 thru holes before the bit snapped.
