> 24 hourWas looking for a more durable upgrade on the travelpro elite. Both highly rated pieces of luggage. The b&r of course is almost $800. After just one trip this bag looks dirty and scuffed as if I had owned it for a year. The expandable section seemed cool but perhaps too easily collapses when you are loading and unloading the bag. The most disappointing thing was maneuverability. It’s adequate on hard floors but so difficult on carpets that I just ended up ripping it as if it was a two wheeler instead of a four wheeler. It’s a good bag - I just expected more due to its reviews and pricing.

> 24 hourI love the compartments and storage capability. However, there are not good wheels on this suitcase. It does not spin straight and very difficult to maneuver ! I would love to return it as it really sucks!!

> 24 hourIts very well-built and looks classy. The interior storage is great and the exterior pockets are useful.

> 24 hourThis thing works great. That said, I probably could have gone with a less expensive bag and had similar results. The Travelpro platinum series for example, if the lifetime guarantee is your thing. But they were sold out. I like that I can either ship it to be repaired, or, just buy $15 repair kits for just about anything (wheels, handles, etc). With travelpro you have to call them. Briggs has them on their website. Only have to ship for zipper issues.

> 24 hourI bopught 2 of these and we used them both for a trip to Canada. These do NOT live up to the hype. Firstly when fully packed and expanded these are not stable and the handle is way too flimsy. Our bags weighed 53 & 57kgs respectively, which was fine as we were travelling 1st class but the handle on these large bags is way to flimsy to support the weight of the bag. This makes it difficult to control the bag. There no brakes on thw wheeels and the bag constantly runs away from you. The extender inside the suitcase only works when the bag is empty. If you overfill your suitcase and then want to extend it, it doesnt work and so you need to take everything out your suitcase and start again. Its full of gimmicks that simply dont work. Its back to reliable Samsonite for us!!!

> 24 hourWe already had two pieces of this luggage in carryon size. This was the perfect addition for when you need to check a bag. It rolls smoothly through the airport and fit all my clothes for a two week cruise (in both cold and warm climates). Should last for years.

> 24 hourBag looks beautiful and is clearly made to an incredibly high quality. It’s pretty heavy, but I attribute that to the materials and tech (e.g. CX compression). My only real complaint is there are white threads hanging out at the top. This would bother me even if they were black, but the fact that they are white makes them stick out even more. It’s a small issue, but for $700 I’d expect perfect.
