Split Convertible Roller

I was very excited to buy this bag. Overall Awesome design and exactly what I needed. Even though very pricey. However after just one trip the material is already starting to rip. The internal support structure rubs against the polyester. If they had put a rubber patch on those corners like they did on the top corners this problem would be solved. It is now also too late for me to return or exchange the bag. I’ve also contacted the company directly two times and they have not replied. Great idea. But this bag will not last very long at all. Definitely not “battle tested” as advertised.

The perennial color is nice. The bag is a good size and looked nice but I could not even evaluate the inside. It smelled horrible and when I opened it it was full of rat feces. It had marks all over the outside and was dirty. This is the worst Amazon experience I have ever had. I am returning it and will be reordering the same bag from Dakine directly.

I ended up sending this back, and ordering this bag from another retailer because the internal plastic scaffolding you are supposed to put into the sides to create structure were wrong. It looked like someone put the wrong ones in there at the factory. My new one not from this seller actually worked.

Great bag. Expands as needed. Outer straps tighten up the load. Handle extends different lengths for taller people. Zippers are heavy duty. Packed for 3week intl trip and had plenty of room. Exterior handles everywhere makes picking it up and loading very ergonomic.

The bag is a good size for a week long trip. Definitely not carry on size. I love the two compartments makes it easy to keep folded clothes neat but still have the capacity of a duffle. The wheels roll smoothly and the handle seems pretty sturdy. Have only done one trip so I can’t speak to the durability yet.

I needed a big check-in piece of luggage and didnt want the run of the mill plastic stuff that Ive traditionally had. I got this DaKine bag and really love it. I got it for longer surf trips but I first used it to go to a cold-weather wedding. I managed to pack two pairs of shoes, a suit, a peacoat, and the rest of my daily attire with room to spare. The compartments are great and there was even more room in the front pockets which I did not use. It rolled really smooth at the airport too and is just flat out way cooler to support a surf brand than some of these other haoles.

Love this bag. Very roomy.

Excelente calidad

A huge amount of space for a checked bag. Light, durable, and easy to wheel around. Very useful spaces inside. If it’s good enuff for the Goddess of Fire—it’s name is Hawaiian slang—it’s way good enuff for me.

After 3 times using outside falling apart. Very disappointed and Amazon would not replace because it was pass the return policy for one month! The bag was not over stuffed to cause the stitching to be lose and the plastic molding around the bag has buckled! Just not right definitely defected!
