SPORTEA ICED (8)

For nearly 2 years Ive been looking for a healthy iced tea that doesnt have the weird herbal aftertastes that i find in some health teas. I read some reviews about this Sportea and had to try it. Its like everything Ive been looking for and more. I mean it not only has trace minerals, Vitamin C ,Brazilian Mate, Ginger, Siberian ginseng, and more. It doesnt have sugar, sodium, calories, fat, artificial sweeteners, gluten, or flavorings. I honestly was perplexed about the marketing. I live in Colorado where the tea is made and just the name had me walk past it - for years. Sport-drinks would seem to be supplemented with energy sugars, water retaining sodium, etc. So I never took the time to read the ingredients. I love this tea, grateful I found it but it is through no help from them ( it loses a point for poor marketing). Try it, you really will be pleasantly surprised.

I moved from Colorado, 10 years ago, where I was first introduced to Iced SPORTea at my favorite burger joint in Denver: My Brothers Bar. After years of bringing boxes of SPORTea back home with me in my suitcase... or having family and friends living in Denver, pack extra boxes of SPORTea in their luggage when ever coming for a visit... I was happy to finally order this wonderful tea through Amazon. ( I buy enough that I rarely have to pay for shipping ) I dont like sweetened or lemon in my tea. ( SPORTea has neither sweetner or lemon ) but the flavors for me, were aquired. (not your regular Liptons Ice Tea ) ... but a wonderful blend of flavors with a citrus undertones. I drink it during my workouts at the gym, ...when my energy feels low but I dont want any more caffeine, ... AND ALWAYS when I feel a cold coming on... I just keep on drinking my SPORTea, and a cold never seems to arrive with any sort of significance. IT really works for me, and performs as it claims it will. EXCELLENT BEVERAGE IF CHOICE !

I absolutely love this tea. Most of my guests who I offer it to, also love it. Ive recommended it to so many people and given away so many 1 qt bags to people who have enjoyed a cup of ice tea at my home. Theres always a pitcher of ice tea in my fridge. I buy it all the time.

I have been drinking SporTea for almost 20 years, love, love, love the flavor. Slightly sweet citrus, with nothing added. The Yerba Mate adds a boost of energy. I prefer the quart bags dropped in a large bottle of cold water for a few hours. This is my afternoon pick me up at work. Good enough to maybe, just maybe, replace my coffee habit. Maybe.

LOVE this tea and I usually hate tea. I make a jug of this and drink it all week. Zero calories and excellent flavor.

I was introduced to this tea at a local restaurant and went absolutely crazy about it. Its unique flavor and healthifying blend of green and black teas and yerba mate, along with a light touch of ginger, is a wonderful thirst quencher. As a tonic for health and energy, I now find myself drinking it daily instead of my usual afternoon coffee. It perks up the body and brain without the jittery effects of caffeine. I find I get a delightful pick-me-up later in the day--when I need it--without the negative affects of keeping me up at night. While a tad expensive, I will continue to buy SPORtea and enjoy its delicious brew. It is now a part of my every day routine.

EVERYONE who drinks sun tea at my house inquires about how I make it. This is so delicious. Just mix one of these tea bags with three normal size Celestial Seaonsings tea bags (we like the berry ones for sun tea) in a half gallon pitcher (a good ol rubbermaid is fine --- dont need a sun tea container). Stick it out on the porch for most of the day, then refrigerate. There you have it. It is not sweet by any means. In fact we dont use any sweetener in it nor does it have any natural or artificial sweeteners. Yet, it has just a touch of sweetness and it is so refreshing.

This stuff is great! My daughter in St Louis used it to rehydrate after abdominal surgery and I tried it while visiting her during recovery. I order it in packages of 12 boxes and my wife also loves it. The great thing is that you drop a couple of bags (we use 3 for 84oz) fill your container with cold water and put it in the fridge for four hours. Its better if you leave it overnight, though. I mix it with juices like cranberry/cherry or just plain cranberry. Its also great for making your own kind of wine cooler by mixing it with Mikes Hard Lemonade.
