SpringTools 32R12-1 1/32 to 2/32-Inch Combination Nail Set

Greatest invention since the airless sprayer for a painter. Sinking in nails on trim is so easy with this tool. Its easier to use then a hammer and pin, and easier to carry! Glad I bought multiple.

Very cool little nail set. Drives nails in very easily. I wish I had bought one years ago. Really comes in handy. Much easier to use than a hammer and a steel punch. Practice with it a little bit and youll be a pro.

One of the tips metal broke off after two days of use while just setting 2” Brad nails on one floor of baseboard. It also gets a little annoying pulling it back if you have too many nails thah didn’t set and can start hurting your fingers. You’re better off with a regular nail punch and hammer if your doing actual trim work, but this works for a few here or there.

I put all new baseboards in my home during the summer and when using a nail gun sometimes you will need a nail set becuase at times the nails are proud of the surface. I tried this new spring tool and I love it. It saves a lot of time. I do recommend you using leather gloves so you do not pinch the skin on your hand.

I dont care for standard punches after using this rascal. These things are great. I did wear one out after 6-8 months of heavy use. The spring deformed then ended up breaking. Im being gentler with my new one ... not pulling it back as far as I did my 1st one ... requires more taps to sink a nail but Im hoping the less stress will make it last longer. When/if this one breaks I will most likely purchase another. I wonder how much trouble it would be to get the manufacturer to honor the lifetime warranty. Im guessing they would claim a broken one was abused or not honor the warranty because of normal wear and tear or some such. Any of yall have experience with a warranty claim on these?

Good tool for setting finish nails that are proud of the surface. I use it baseboards and door casings mostly. Works well.

The best tool Ive ever purchased for the money. Does exactly what it advertises and does it well. I used it to fix several protruding nails I had during a wainscoting project and Im amazed how well it works. Drives the nail perfectly and leaves a small cavity which can be easily filled spackle and sanded. Im very glad I found this product and would highly recommend for anyone that uses pneumatic air guns for nailing.

Absolutely love this tool, i lost it.. and simply couldnt go without one, so i purchased 2 new ones, so that i always have a backup! And its a fun little item to show people at work

The sort of thing thats easily overlooked. No one needs it, until they have a protruding brad. Typically, that would result in aggravation or trying to sink the brad by some more complicated means that still ends up hurting the surrounding wood. But I must say, this simple little gadget is perfect for making any brad nail flush or deeper into your wood project. Incredibly simple to use, nice quality, and very sturdy. It also takes literally a few seconds to sink each brad flush, with no need for any specific skills, dexterity, or much accuracy.
