> 24 hourThis is my new favorite shaving cream. It lathers easily into a thick foamy cream. The lubrication while shaving and the scent are both top notch. For background, I’ve been wet shaving for over 10 years. I’ve tried many of the English shaving creams, which are all great too. I’ve also used the sandalwood and bourbon scented shaving creams from the popular store that is in many malls here in the US. With the experience of using all those others, I was ready to try something new. The descriptions and other reviews of this one were attractive so I thought, “why not?“ It didn’t disappoint. In addition to everything stated, it comes in a beautiful jar, and a little shaving cream goes along way. This jar looks like it’s going to last quite a while.

> 24 hourThis shaving cream smells great and lathers up great as well. The only downside is that the texture is on the hard side. Fresh shaving cream is light and airy but this is not. I have had this happen before through Amazon when selecting less popular brand or scent.

> 24 hourIve tried a bunch of products, for me, this is the one.. Awesome smell, spicy, woody, not overbearing, and its a modern scent, not your grandpas shaving scent like Proraso... The cream goes on really thick and smooth (dont need much of it), lather is superior, no irritation, washes off very clean and easily. Comes in a great looking glass jar.

> 24 hourEven though I havent actually started to use this soap, based on the scent its 5 stars. For those of you who are familiar with Con Kazantzidis (shave the man), he gave this soap a good review. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but Ive seen YouTube vids where reviewers only use a small amount and can work up a big lather. Hence I thought Id try it. Im sure I will love this soap when I do use it. For me this soap is one of those special occasion soaps much like truefitt & hill or Castle Forbes.

> 24 hourvery slick, lots more soap in the jar than you would expect, smells sweet and slightly spicy, a little perfumey, high class. stayed moist, didnt give razor burn, skin is still soft, my other soaps didnt do that. i didnt use the gel or aftershave, yet the scent has remained, lightly spicy all night. i shaved using a thirtys model Gillette open combed razor with dorco blade. open combs keep some of the shaving cream on your face making second passes more smooth. this shaving soap was worth the money.

> 24 hourA friend turned me on to this cream, and I was blown away!! Amazing scent, just right, not too overpowering. The lather is smooth as silk and whips up easy. This will stay in rotation for a while

> 24 hourI have tried Taylor of Old Bond Street, Cremo, this product, and various commodity shaving creams at the big box retail stores. In my opinion, this product is tied with the Cremo brand for best shaving performance. Fragrance intensity is subtle, tied with Cremo, less than TOBS. I really like the scent of this product, but not everyone is a fan of all things cedar (their loss). I really like the solid feel of the heavyweight glass jar. Probably not the lightest thing to take when traveling, though.
