DID NOT REALIZE THE DEPTH I ACTUALLY NEEDED? 3 IS TOO SHORT AND THE 8 LOOKED TOO LONG! DONT NEED A 8 ROD STICKING OUT OF MY BRICKS! A 5 OR 6 IN. WOOD WORK PERFECT. WHY THEY GO FROM 3 TO 8 IS BEYOND ME!!

I was concerned because I didnt know what size to buy and then couldnt find it at my local hardware store. So I bought this and kept my fingers crossed.
