> 3 dayEasy installation. Instructions were good, but YouTube video was better. Only pry is if you have a Tundra Platinum, the telescoping feature doesn’t work until you shut the vehicle off first and then you the key to restart it. Otherwise, it works as described.

> 3 dayBought this for my Tundra, watched a video on how to install it off the internet and had it installed in less than an hour. Worked first time I tried it and was an easy plug and use application.

> 3 dayThis is, by far, the best and most useful addition to my truck. I live in South Texas and the heat here is somewhat torturous. I bought and installed this just in time for this year’s summer where triple digit temperature in our area is imminent. I had it for almost two weeks now. I use the remote start every single day to help cool the inside of the truck every time I use it. Come winter season, this thing will help me have a warm cabin too. I am, overall, happy with this product.

> 3 dayIve been looking at these for a while now, finally looked into getting remote start done for my wifes car. After calling around installed 299 plus tax. Told it would work off your own key fob. Remembered about StartX and was able to do 2 vehicles for about the same price as 1 in a shop. Highly recommend this to anyone with basic tools (Phillips screw driver) and can follow directions. YouTube actually had multiple videos for my installation

> 3 dayThis was a fairly easy to install product for handy person - you just need the included pry-tool, a phillips and flat head screw driver, and about an hour of time. My problems with the unit are that 1) the instructions are probably written for someone who does this for a living, as there are no details, and you will need to look for videos online (there are some good ones from the manufacturer) to complete the job if this is not your normal cup of tea, and 2) the start/stop 3-press sequence on a 2015 Toyota Tundra is not always successful. It seems there is a certain cadence that is needed, not too fast or slow, to get it to accept the start/stop, and if you are not in line of site of the vehicle, you have no decent way of knowing if the vehicle indeed is running or stopped. If you can see it, as I can, and your vehicle has some running lights that illuminate when started, it works, but without looking on a cold day, you might find that your toasty warm vehicle is not so much, and sitting there cold. Like the anti-theft shutoff when the brake is depressed without a key in the ignition. Hope that helps.
