> 3 dayIts a good little rack and serves its purpose well. I threw this guy up on my basement wall for a home networking project. Im using four Us right now and its going strong. It isnt the Cadillac of these types of racks, but it works great for me and, hopefully, you too (mounted in cement).

> 3 dayGreat product for great price. Fits my switch, tray and patch panel perfectly. Must buy deep for large network switches

> 3 dayDoesnt feel flimsy or poorly designed. Installation was a breeze. Its currently holding 2 x 24 port switches, a 1u shelf and a 1u patch panel. So far so good.

> 3 dayI have two stacked on top of each other. In the image you can see how its not properly manufactured. I had to remove the crossbar and force the width on the lower part so I could get the rack mount equipment into the rack. Its tapered and you have to bend it outwards. Usually Im really happy with this brand (Startech), but I really wasnt too happy with this. I will mention that it sort of looked like it was returned and repackaged, comparing it to the new one. I managed to get it working because I didnt want to return it. But frustrating nevertheless.

> 3 dayMy only complaint: the brace at the top ends up being far more in the way than I had anticipated. If you use a rack shelf, you end up with your shelf divided in half if you mount the shelf in the top unit. I need to take an afternoon and re-arrange my rack so the patch panel or PDU is on the top. Otherwise, a fantastic rack, sturdy, and has good depth for network equipment.

> 3 dayI recently wired up a new house with CAT6 and needed to mount a switch, patch panel, power bar, and shelf. This is a very good value and Id highly recommend it to someone who just needs to pop some network equipment into a closet. Pros: - Very sturdy. Its a single piece of steel that stays rigid. Once mounted, it felt like I could hang myself from it. - Openings in the back so you can feed cables from the wall straight into it, if desired. Cons: - As others have noted, it only includes eight sets of screws for mounting stuff. Youre likely going to have to buy some more separately. That jacks up the price quite a bit if you dont already have some on hand (or know someone who has some).

> 3 dayIts a rack, does its job. The accuracy of the cutouts isnt the best. The top U is blocked by the bar going across the top.

> 3 dayThese racks are never a complete breeze to install but this was not too bad at all. Well built!
