I used it for cleaning up some old brass. It stayed together quite well. The price was great, the picture was accurate. Thats perfection.

I find there are many things to use them with. I really like using them on my glass stove top. I would highly recommend them.

I still have some of this companies bronze wool from a few years ago. The attached pictures, I hope, will show the vast difference in quality, from a quality useful product to a product that is almost useless. In the second picture the pad on the feet is from a few years ago. The pad on the right is their current product. They both carry the same product number! I used the one on the right a little longer than the one on the left, but you could IMMEDIATELY feel the difference in use. You could QUICKLY see the difference on the furniture. The new product is less densely woven, the individual fibers are not as fine, and the new product falls apart very quickly. In one picture see the pad that that is clearly falling apart; whereas the other pad still appears to be in good shape. I use these pads in rubbing furniture in finishing processes. I would strongly recommend to any purchaser to go other manufaturers. I am returning this mess. I will write the manufacturer and lodge my strong displeasure with the abysmal denigration of what once was a fine product.

We live in an apartment complex owned by a very bad management company. We started getting mice after a flood that required a few large 1ft x 1ft holes to be made in the walls. They never repaired the walls & we started to see mice. Im using this wire wool to plug up the smaller holes where I know for sure the mice are coming in & so far its been working incredibly well. They cant chew this stuff so bit by bit Im blocking their entryways. I havent used this specific item for any other kinds of projects but Im familiar enough with wire wool to know it works well on many surfaces as a cleaner. I didnt get any splinters from this either while plugging holes, so thats a bonus!

I use this bronze wool to clean metal surfaces like tub, sink and shower faucets/fixtures. Sometimes Ill use it with CLR liquid to remove scale and lime. It also works well on dirty glass. The bronze is soft and forgiving unlike steel wool that can scratch delicate surfaces. My 2 cons are that this product is pricey and the pads are thin. But if you want a safe version of 00000 steel wool for delicate surfaces, this product will work well. Hope that helps! PS - Amazon wanted me to rate the warmth of this bronze wool. If I ever use it for insulation, Ill give you an update. (Im kidding - its a goofy feature for Amazon to ask to rate!)
