for me it is really, really handy. the size is perfect. matte surface looks beautiful. yes, you can change your color gamma and style as you wish, its good to know. I use the mouse with original Steelseries mousepad and again, I like it how it works together.

All the buttons feel good to click, including the chunky (in a good way -- easy to thumb) side buttons. The DPI adjustment works fine. I play a decent amount of Overwatch, and found this excellent for that. My Tracer game went way up from a cheap WalMart mouse. XD

Quality and durability is great. Can only be customized by Steelseries Engine 3 as a PC program which can be mildly obnoxious from time to time. Randomly decides to change RGB color every blue moon or two, but its fine. I wish there was a way to turn off the glow, though.

Replaced my rival 100 with this mouse after the left click broke. So far it has performed well and the steelseries engine works great. Has nice RGB Biggest concern is how it feels very similar to the rival 100 which did hold up well to hard mouse clicks but not much can withstand a raging 9 year old playing Overwatch or Fortnite.

This is an amazing mouse. I was kind of nervous at first because I heard the Rival 100 sensor was only usable at 500 CPI or below. WEll, the Rival 110 has a custom sensor called the TrueMove1 which was made by SteelSeries and Pixart, and is capable of 7200 CPI. I personally use it at 1600 and it works amazing! Its not a Deathadder Elite class sensor, but its close. The design is pretty straight forward. Its an ambidextrous design, although you only have forward and back buttons on the left side of the mouse. You get your usual right and left click, forward and back, scroll wheel, scroll click and DPI button. On top of that you do have RGB Lighting, which looks amazing. Colors are very bright and crisp. Now the performance. It tracks pixel by pixel, and is very smooth. Its performing close to a PMW3360 which is a top optical sensor. Ive only owned this mouse for a few hours now, so if anything new comes up I will edit this review. Overall would I recommend this mouse? Yes! It is well worth the money.

Very good so far, feels really good for gaming, you just need to install the driver so you can configure the dps because it comes with low dps from factory. I was a little worried since I bought it used, but it works just fine.

Wonderful little mouse! Do note that you can actually change the color on the LED. I got the gold one and was a bit worried about the colors shown in the product preview, but I changed it to a lovely blue color. You can even make it do crazy color cycles and stuff. Feels very comfortable and easy to use.

Amazing first gaming mouse. I used it for design work too and have no issues. Most mouses dont last a year on my hands so this is a record-breaker for me. My only complaint is the lack of Linux support, you need 3er parties to configure the mouse and no GUI opportunity which is the only reason I may no rebuy the same brand in the future since Linux has become my main OS and I find myself gaming a lot more than in Windows lately.

I got tired of using cheap mice with poor tracking in games. This mouse is simple with just a few buttons, but thats all I needed. The main draw here is the sensor, which is amazing. I didnt realize how poor my old mice tracked until I plugged this thing in. Its so smooth and consistent. I havent had a single issue with jumping/jerkiness, it just does exactly what I want when I want it. The steelseries software is actually really nice, allowing for customization of the LED color, mapping of buttons, and DPI settings. The DPI switch is a simple low-high setting which is fully customizable. This is perfect for my style where I have a standard setting and a sniper setting which is much lower DPI. Much better than clicking the button 5 times in a firefight to cycle through and get the correct DPI. I dont really use mouse macros but the software allows you to customize every single button on the mouse if you wanted to. Overall, its an awesome buy if you are looking for a simple mouse with a great sensor, especially considering the low price. Definitely would recommend.

I was impatient at the time of the order, I was short on change so I couldn’t get the rival 310 instead. But this is a nice mouse and works amazingly and has customizable lighting as well! Would recommend

The Rival 100 Optical Gaming Mouse brings unmatched performance, at an entry level price. Armed with a best in class sensor and six programmable buttons, the Rival 100 is complete with customizable CPI up to 4000, 30 million click switches, and 16.8 million color RGB illumination. Whether this is your first gaming mouse, or you are already topping the leader boards, this mouse has everything that a gamer needs.
