Today the left click button just died. Not clicks are registered 1/3rd of the time. It was working without problem and now all of a sudden it just stopped working. Never buying Steel Series product again. Edit: After uninstalling and installing the driver made the mouse usable again.

This is a great mouse overall. Nice and small and easy to manipulate across your mouse pad. The only problem is that i feel like I always overshoot my target no matter what sensitivity settings I adjust. I would think that it has something to do with the lift of distance. Unfortunately I replaced this mouse with a much better one. I would suggest looking into other mice.

I love it, and dont even mind the colored light. Glad Im back to wired and not using batteries anymore. I noticed the superior response (probably due to being wired) immediately. It never misses a movement, no matter how slight. Its hard to find an ambidextrous gaming mouse too. Far too many are asymmetrical favoring non-left handed people. The only issue I have had (and its minor) is that once in a while, if I take my hand off of it, the pointer on the screen eerily drifts even though the mouse is not being moved. This has not effected gameplay or actual work usage, though. Its only happened a handful of times, and only when my hand is off of it. The free app is great too. You can easily set the sensitivity, speed, and color. I like how it has an extra middle button right beneath the scroll wheel that you can set to toggle between two speed/sensitivity settings. ie: I have it set up for normal/fast and slow/precise. Ive never had a mouse that can do that, and I love it. Its great for some games, and also software like Photoshop, Zbrush, etc. I highly recommend this model. EDIT: After about a year, the scroll wheel is dying. Not cool. I likely hastened its demise by playing a lot of Path of Exile, where clicking the wheel down acts as the third attack option button. Still, though. Its a shame the scroll wheel wasnt built very well. I basically cannot scroll web pages, etc. easily anymore. I have to replace this mouse. I docked it from 5/5 to 3/5 because of this huge issue.

Strictly in terms of price, hands down the best mouse I have ever purchased. Its perfect for MOBAs, and for anyone looking at the entry-level gaming mouses. Very responsive, 7,200 CPI is more than enough in my opinion, and one of if not the best feature, is the RGB and the software behind it. With customization capabilities to no limit, its my number 1 mouse for the price.

I got tired of using cheap mice with poor tracking in games. This mouse is simple with just a few buttons, but thats all I needed. The main draw here is the sensor, which is amazing. I didnt realize how poor my old mice tracked until I plugged this thing in. Its so smooth and consistent. I havent had a single issue with jumping/jerkiness, it just does exactly what I want when I want it. The steelseries software is actually really nice, allowing for customization of the LED color, mapping of buttons, and DPI settings. The DPI switch is a simple low-high setting which is fully customizable. This is perfect for my style where I have a standard setting and a sniper setting which is much lower DPI. Much better than clicking the button 5 times in a firefight to cycle through and get the correct DPI. I dont really use mouse macros but the software allows you to customize every single button on the mouse if you wanted to. Overall, its an awesome buy if you are looking for a simple mouse with a great sensor, especially considering the low price. Definitely would recommend.

The mouse is decent for being inexpensive, the sensor has no issues tracking, the LC and RC buttons feel a bit dull to me but build quality is ok to me. Since it doesnt have a braided cable, the cable can get distracting for a while. Lastly when I first used the mouse, gripping it would make my palm a bit sore so the shape isnt for me even though I have adjusted to it for a while, I just cant get a good grip. I would recommend this product to people who have tried using this before buying it so they know if its worth getting or not, this is a decent budget mouse with the best part in my opinion is the sensor.

I do like this mouse a lot. I has a great feel to it. The options are wonderful and the application is really easy to use. I think the only main issue Ive run into is more recently Ive had it disconnect randomly from the USB pass-through on my keyboard, and Ive had to unplug and replug in. Its only happened once or twice, but definitely something Im going to keep an eye on for sure. I love the design of SteelSeries products and I think this is an easy choice for a gamer looking for something to improve his or her game on a budget.
