The front wheels do not turn!!! This is a huge problem!!! The old little tykes car had great wheels but no longer available.

The car is nice, my nephew loved it. Cons- it gives a bumpy ride on some parts of the road - the tires are plastic plus the instruction manual should be on color because a lot of parts look the same in the black and white print. But overall on playgrounds it works fine

I will never buy a Step 2 product again. All the snapping and screwing into plastic is ridiculous. Most of the time the holes don’t line up and it take pure luck for it to snap in correctly.

My grand baby loves her little ride. Plenty of room for her and her doll baby. She likes beeping the horn and she is so excited every time we take a walk around the block for our stroll. My son in law had the car put together in less than 20 minutes. Definitely a great buy.

Our 15 month old is Obsessed with her car! So glad we got this! My husband put it together in about 15-20 minutes. The cup holder on the handle for parents is so smart and trunk is great for carrying extras. Love that you can push this with one hand. Was very quiet inside and depending on the ground outside, it can be very quiet or a bit of rumbling. The rumbling was totally expected because of the nature of the vehicle. There are a lot of people who clearly didn’t assemble their cars correctly or are living in a fairy dream land where they think pushing a bunch of hard plastic on cement and other grumble-inducing ground would be silent. Be realistic!!! This will make some noise but not very loud (unless you assemble wrong) and does not bother us or the baby. Read instructions and watch a YouTube assembly video or two. Perhaps Step 2 should change the model name because some take “whisper” too literal, but it works great and will bring great joy to your child. We are thrilled with our purchase and highly recommend!!

We got this for our 1 year old and absolutely love it. We had one of the red ones that are more popular and this by far is one i would pick over and over again. There is so much room for the kids legs and to move around. The seat is wide enough not to crowd them and the rubber wheels are the best thing yet! There is almost no sound at all when you roll down the side walk unlike with the plastic wheels. The fact that you can fold the handle under too helps ao much so I can just fold it and throw it in the passenger seat of my pathfinder and it fits perfect! Would completely and personally already have more than a handful of times, reccomend this to other parents in need of a fun way to push their babies around.

The assembly instructions were very confusing, but my male friend assembled it for me. I would not have been able to do it, as a female :) I purchased the vehicle for my 1 year old grandson. He loves it! He gets looks and compliments when he is being pushed.

Last summer when my son was one he would try to car jack other kids and take their push cars. Even though he has a Smart Trike, 3 strollers, and countless other scooters and balance bikes, he was obsessed with the cars. I held off as most kids in the neighborhood have the red step 2 push around buggy - it didnt seem well made or comfortable to push for the parent. It also had weight and height limits that my tall son would quickly grow out of. Well fast forward to this summer, he turned 2 and was still obsessed. I began doing research and saw that this version allowed for kids up to age 4 and seemed to have a better ride for the toddler and parent. I have been watching the parent email groups in my town as people often sell toys as their kids outgrow them (we are in a city where storage is at a premium). These seemed to sell for more than half of list price even when a few years old and always sold within a few hours of being posted. So I gave in and ordered it and am glad that I did. I have had people stop me on the street and say they heard my son laughing from the other end of the block. He LOVES this car. He insists on joining us every time we walk the dog around the block and has been known to bring it into the house, park it in the living room and then sit in it to play with his toys and books. If you are trying to decide if it is worth it - order it already! Your kid will love it and you can resell it for at least half of when you pay when they are done with it.
