> 3 dayNot very minty .. this is my first try of these and they are questionably minty maybe for about three seconds .. they do have a tendency to start splitting into sharp slivers pretty quickly I find myself coughing up little splinters .

> 3 dayThese are almost impossible to find in the stores anymore. Ive been using them off and on for 20 years. They work great for keeping the plaque off my teeth and keeping my gums healthy.

> 3 dayI used to use these in the 90s and kinda forgot about them. So when I remembered I was happy to find them on amazon. However they sturdiness is not like they old days of nice quality balsa wood. I would still buy them again.

> 3 dayI hated when I found the stores were no longer selling stimudents. I have been using them since I was a teenager. Unlike flossing, they are great for cleaning between the teeth AND massaging the gums. My dentist recommended them a long time ago for bleeding gums. Ive had no bleeding gums since then. They are great. At least I can buy them here in bulk and save money. The quality of the product has diminished over 30 years, but still good.

> 3 dayThese do the job well. They are not quite as good as the originals from 20 years ago, hence the 4 stars today. Old ones had slightly straighter grain. I use them daily in the car. My dentist says my teeth and gums are great and I attribute this to the Stim-u Dent. A good habit to have.

> 3 dayEver since I started using these my dental hygienist wont stop commenting about how healthy my gums are. I told her I use these and she said thats probably why my gums look so great. Honestly though, I use these because they feel good and its an easy way to get food out from between my teeth... My only complaint is they do taste a bit...chemically? But not so much so that Im hesitant to use them.

> 3 dayMy dentist recommended this product. It stimulates the gums, and helps reduce plax and will not come apart while you use it.

> 3 dayI discovered these in Walgreens a couple years ago. I havent been able to locate them in either Walgreens or Walmart lately so I was thrilled to see I could purchase them on Amazon.com. I bought extra so I dont have to worry about running out. The individual packets are so convenient to keep in places where you might need them - such as car or purse. I bought extra to share with family members and they like them as well.

> 3 dayOriginally got from my dentist a year or so ago...loved, bought from various local merchants. Then could not find after a while. Found out Johnson & Johnson sold product line to someone and are now made in China...seems only available thru mail order. Oh well...probably not profitable for J & J...New mfg. is OK..noticed wood is not same, but they are much better than toothpicks. This last order shipped to me was fast, as ordered, etc. will reorder when time comes from same supplier.

Greater than one weekI have to admit it, I hate to floss. That means I dont do it. Thats bad. However, using Stim-U-Dent is probably the next best thing to flossing, IMO. I have been using them religiously for the past nine or ten years. They have made my visits to the dentist a much nicer experience. My check-ups are always good. I no longer have any dental issues and plaque build-up is minimal between cleanings. I am 56 years old and still have all my own teeth (with a couple of crowns from before I used Stim-U-Dents). I credit this product with the good oral health I am experiencing, along with brushing daily of course! I use one after each meal, and when possible, after snacks. It actually bothers me now to feel any food between my teeth. Using Stim-U-Dents is easy and they work. I am very happy with this product and always carry a pack in my pocket everywhere I go. I have tried the other plastic floss / tooth-pick type products and find them awkward to use and much less effective than the tapered wood tooth-pick I have come to love. Not all the local pharmacies and grocery stores carry them all the time therefore, I order them in bulk on-line so I always have plenty on hand without fear of running out!
