Stonemaier Games Scythe: Realistic Resources

Much like the other game upgrades, these add an additional dimension to the game play.

These could not have been more perfect! The iron is actual metal, and the weight feels amazing. The rest of the resources - wood, grain, and oil - are all a lighter material but have a satisfying weight and feel to them as well. Each one is very detailed and painted well. The oil cans even have a detailed top similar to your standard oil drum. They all sit perfectly flat when set out, and add a very nice touch to the game. Especially when paired with the metal Scythe coins!

These are a must for anyone who has Scythe!

It seems like a small thing to buy for a game, however, it enhances the experience of an already great game to the next level! An absolute must have for any fans of scythe and wants to be part of the finer things club. ;) They are incredibly well detailed and have a good weight in your hand. Absolutely recommend this product!

These realistic resources really brings out the authenticity of the game! It brings to life the resources you’re handling, and love the weight to them!

These are great quality and hand-painted. Unfortunately that means the yellow on the grain bags was not even and some were missing paint on large portions. overall, its not too noticeable when playing, but i would have liked some better consistency. These are much larger than the original wooden pieces which made me have to find a new solution for storage. The metal pieces feel amazingly weighty, but i do worry about them damaging the board or other components during transit. very high quality, price is a little high

A direct upgrade over the default resources

I loved the weight of these pieces, they really added some textural fun to the game. I also have the metal coins for the game, so I needed these in order to feed my scythe addiction. They aren’t totally necessary if you only play once and awhile but they are great as a gift to board game friends or more frequent players

These are exactly as described. Love the weight and realism they bring to the game. They definitely add to the artisticness of the game. I bought these because playing a 7 player version we were always scrambling to get resources and it helps when using the board expansion and even a 64 persons long reach can reach across the table to get them. lol

If you have Scythe, this is such a nice addition. The feel is high quality and definitely makes the tactile sensation of the game much more exciting. It may seem silly but trust me it’s a big difference having iron made of metal that’s surprisingly weighty rather than the little wood tokens.
