Stratum 2.0 Expandable Hardside Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Jet Black, Carry-on

> 3 dayThe rubber on my previous spinner carry-on suitcase peeled off during an overseas trip, and the wheels became unusable. These new ball wheels look more durable and should last longer, with no rubber to peel off. Also they are not as tall as the double spinner wheels of some other suitcases (which also have rubber that could peel off), which saves space overall.

Greater than one weekFrequently travel for work and needed a carry on with more space. Previously had overpriced Calpak and monos and couldn’t fit 2 pairs of shoes in either. I have packed about 7 outfits (blouses and pants), 2 pairs of loafers, 3 toiletry bags, and an acrylic clipboard in this bag and it comfortably closed. Impressed by space capacity. Constantly have to check in my carry on due to airlines being overbooked for overhead space. If it can withstand the baggage process, it will be 10/10. Will update after my trip next month

> 3 dayThere was more room inside the bag than I had thought. The expandable feature helped greatly. Tie something on it to easily identify your bag because it looks just like everyone else’s bags!

Greater than one weekI bought this luggage for a 6 day trip. It handled great in the airport, I was able to switch it from hand to hand with ease. I rolled it in front of me and pulled it behind to try to see which way I liked strolling with it, it was easy every way I tried it. Zippers worked great, I really liked this luggage. The reason I gave it 4 stars for traveling was because it didn’t have the TSA locks. However, since I used it as a carry-on on a flight TSA locks we’re not needed for this trip. It was a great price, really nice color, hard exterior and it handles great!

> 3 dayAmericanTourister/Samsonite is no longer a name to be trusted. I bought this thinking it was a great name brand at a great price. The second time I used this luggage, it arrived at my destinated ripped open as the photo shows. For my return flight, the airlines placed the fragile stickers on it so my clothes wouldnt be strewn all over the runway before I arrived home. There was less than 35 lbs of clothes in it and it couldnt handle the stresses of normal air travel. Yikes! And it gets worse. I had to take it to an authorized AmericanTourister/Samsonite dealer for warranty evaluation. It was an hour and a half drive just to get to the closest one. The person there at first told me that it wasnt covered under warranty. I told the person that not withstanding normal wear and tear is a manufacturing defect. The person then gave me an RMA slip and told me theyd see what they could do. Two weeks later they called and said that it was repaired and could be picked up. Repaired? The luggage was brand new and only on its second flight and it ripped wide open, but it was repaired and not replaced. Ill never be able to trust that piece of luggage again. AmericanTourister/Samsonite definitely has not lived up to its name and Ill never do business with them again. Costco may not have names that roll off my tongue but at least they stand behind their products.
