> 24 hourDon’t like that the battery needs to be charged so often. Do like the convenience of having the light clip to my hat and that it’s so light. Holding on/off button for a few seconds makes the light red or back to a light. I don’t understand that feature but now that I know what it is and how to change it I guess it serves some sort of purpose.

> 24 hourExcellent light for uniform or use where space is at a premium but a small flexible light is needed. The only downside is that the enclosure for the lamp itself can come off and it can crack if hit hard enough. I used electrical tape , ( later shrink tube), to secure it. The white/red feature is extremely handy at night. I would recommend this light.

> 24 hourThe only thing I would change on the light: reinforce the flexible part where it exits the flashlight housing.

> 24 hourI enjoy night hiking, and have been using a Princeton Tec headlamp. The Streamlight works just as well, if not better, and its rechargeable. I checked it out on the trail this morning: the bright setting produces a LOT of light, enough for cycling or running, and the low setting is adequate for hiking. The light works well either in a headband or clipped into my belt. The gooseneck feature is a plus, allowing the beam to be pointed in any desired direction. The beam is somewhat narrower than the Princeton Tec, and the light falls off very rapidly at the edge of the beam, which could be a problem on unfamiliar trails: it might be hard to see both the footway and the blazes. The major negative about this lamp is the switch, which is rather awkwardly located and requires a rather heavy push (my thumb was getting sore after a while). In testing at home, using the high setting, I found that the light did start to fade out after 3 hours, but even after 4.5 hours there was still enough light (just barely) to keep you from falling into a ditch. So you dont have to worry too much about being stranded if the light suddenly fails. A useful and well-designed product (except for that darn switch!)

> 24 hourTotal piece of made in china junk. Second Streamlight product in 6 months I have received that has been defective. Will never purchase this brand name again. Came with no charge at all so charged for 3 hours and come to find out, the switch doesnt work. Same issue I had with another model.

> 24 hourThis is a must if you work Night Shift. Hands free, two brightness setting, red light if you need it, and it lasts about two to three days on a charge. Charges by USB which every patrol has now a days. Great to fill out tickets without fumbling a light in your armpit. You must get this. Get two. (Secretly hoping enough are bought that they come out with a new model)
