Streamlight 61126 ClipMate 70-Lumen USB Rechargeable, Compact Clip-On Light with 120-Volt AC Wall Adapter, Black with White and Red LEDs

Got it for my husband who is a Police Officer, and works great.

There are times when having a small tactical light source is an advantage and so when this item came up, I thought I would give it a try. Here is what I found: 1. You charge this item by removing an end cap (has a water seal) and then plugging that end into a USB port capable of charging. The first problem comes in as this unit is not designed fit only one way. Thus, it is very easy to plug it in backwards and not have the unit charge. If you do this, just reverse the unit and then it will charge. 2. The unit uses the red led to let you know if it is charging (solid red light) or if it is charged (blinking red light). Just keep in mind that if you have the light already on and plug the unit it, the red light stays on. The problem here is that if you plug it in backwards, you will not know since the light is also still on. If you have the white light on, it will turn that off and turn on the red led to indicate charging. So, you just need to be careful if you are using the red light and do not want to turn it off while it is charging. 3. The charger that is included makes it difficult to charge this unit on a wall plug!! It is a VERY tight fit!! 4. The switch that turns the light on and off and that is used to cycle it through brightness levels and between red and white light does not work easily! Getting it to work sometimes is a real pain. This is not a good thing if you really need the light quickly or if you need to change modes quickly. Maybe with more time it will wear in or something, but after several hours of use, it is still just as finicky. 5. The limited lifetime warranty is useless as it does not cover the battery, the switch, or the leds. Just be aware of that. While I like the compact design, I think that this is more of a prototype that needs a bit of refinement before it is ready for prime time.

Very good light and shines really bright to be so small. I use it at night while Im working and it gets the job done. Lightweight and great attachable. Charges with a regular usb plug.

I got this light to replace another light that I purchased a couple of, but they ended getting broken during a couple of physical confrontations. This light secures tightly to my vest. The light itself can be positioned however you want it. I put money on a charger after every shift and have never had an issue with the light failing me. The bright setting is almost too bright. Definitely recommend!!

This is an awesome piece of equipment if your LE and work graves. I probably get the most use out of this light during vehicle searches or if I’m searching a bag. I’m able to use both hands during the search and don’t have to worry about trying to hold a flashlight. The light is fairly bright so there are times I will use this light when I contact someone. The light is bright enough to light up an area to look for weapons and what not.

Great device for those who work in areas of darkness. I have been using mine for over a year and it has always been ready when needed.

Horrible product, wont recharge

I work in construction and a lot of industrial work. The light is perfect for a hard hat and the battery lasts forever. It is a very bright light, well worth every penny
