> 24 hourInstalled this easily with the car on jack stands in my garage. Re-used the original spring pin that hold the joint to the transmission shifter stub. I important tip- after driving the pin out from the bottom up through the top side of the old joint, use a punch or bolt of the same diameter, inserted from the top side to hold everything in alignment while you re-insert the pin to install the new joint. Also, I used a foot long piece of steel rod with about 2 inches of clear rubber hose attached, to hold the pin on the rod, while I hammered the pin into place. Rod works well as a long punch and you dont have to hold the pin on the end because its captured by the hose.

> 24 hour100% perfect for my 2005 Subaru WRX. The pin is a bit of a pain, which this doesn’t come with a pin. It didn’t bother me because I was able to reuse my old one but if you intend on replacing it make sure you buy one also because it is not included. Feels like a new car with the way it shifts.
