This is the 2nd piddle pad I have purchased. I used the first for my son during those fabulous potty training days and it has now been passed down to his baby sister who is known for her blowouts in the car seat. (we need another one for the other car seat). The pad has been washed many times and still looks great. We have used the first one for over a year and feel that there is still a lot of use left in it. It covers the seat very well and is much easier than having to remove the whole car seat. We do have to use a burp cloth at the foot area in conjuction with the piddle pad for the baby but that is mainly because I like the whole seat to be covered from the inevitable weekly blowout.

Bought this before moving cross country with our six month old. It proved its worth in the first hour. Diaper blow out was prevented from getting on our carseat and it was easy to wash this seat liner. The only thing I dont love is that it gets a little turned down around the edges from our little guy sitting on the sides of it but not a big deal and it doesnt impact function.

I have the graco forever carseat and potty training my 3 year old. This is awesome! Before when he would have accidents, the cushion the seat wouldnt soak very much of it up, and when i toook out of the car to wash, i would have to tilt it, and everything would spill onto the seats! So this is a life saver. Washes in the washing machine well. And I air dried.

I have 2 of these and am about to get a third one for my baby that is due in a few weeks. I have a 3 year old and a 16 month old. I love them! They have saved me from having to wash the entire carseat multiple times, especially when my 3 year old was potty training. I still use it for her cause accidents can still happen and when they do, I just take this pad out and throw it in the wash. Super easy! The only con really is that it does move around in the seat with my 3 year old because she moves around so much when getting into her seat. When I buckle her, I just pull it back into the right place underneath her and its good to go. Not really a big deal. Overall, great product.

i had read up on all the reviews for this product, i had read about mixed reviews saying it worked for some but not for others, so since we are in the stage of potty training our son i wonted something that would help in case of a accident. i did like how it was real soft and my son didnt mind it being in the car seat at all. it did a great job and catching all the crumbs when he eats in the car but after we went swimming we put my son back in a pull up and on the way home he never said anything about needing to use the potty but when we got him out i noticed he was a little damp (i thought my husband didnt dry him off good before we put him in car seat) but when i pulled the piddle pad out of the seat i noticed that the straps were wet so i knew i had to take the seat out so i could clean them and thats when i noticed that the piddle pad didnt catch any of the pee as it had leaked down where the straps go and there was pee on the actual seat in the car and everything. great at catching crumbs(is why i gave it 2 stares instead of one), bad at holding pee accidents...

this is suuuuper handy! I had one in the car seat and one in the stroller, every accident while potty training was very well contained, its very easy to clean. and now we use it still and it has saved me from a lot of ice cream melts!

It serves its purpose, but not perfect. If my daughter has an accident where she pees a lot it often leaks out the sides and gets onto the car seat. For smaller accidents or spills it works just fine. All you have to do is take it out of the car and wash it and it is good to go again. It fits easily into her seat and she doesnt have a problem or never complains about it being in her seat. Overall it serves its purpose most of the time.

Works well enough to catch most of the leaks from potty training accidents. We did have leaks around the open part where the buckle comes through, as that hole is pretty big. And like others have said, it does slide around quite a bit when my kid goes to climb in her seat. But I get that there are likely limitations due to safety. Overall, for the price, its helpful enough and makes it easier to clean up accidents.

So far my two year old has had one accident on this pad (my fault as I forgot to put a diaper on him). It did go through the hole where the strap comes up through and onto the carseat cover but I think that was because he did not have a diaper and so there was too much for the pad to hold. Otherwise I cant say yet how useful it is, but it gives me peace of mind that now if they have an accident it wont go through the carseat cover and onto the seat of the car.

I think I use this differently than most people. Most people put it in their kids car seat to save the carseat from accidents. And from the reviews, most people like it. I wanted to use it like that, but it was annoying because every time I took my son out of his carseat, Id have to readjust it. It is slippery on the back side, and it slides all over. I have enough trouble trying to get my flailing toddler in and out of his carseat, without having to deal with this thing sliding around. I looked at other ones (also slick on the bottom), but I really like the design and fit of this one - it has fit all of our carseats very well - its a great universal shape and I like the coverage it provides. SO, since my kid doesnt wet his carseat very often, I use it AFTER he has accidents. This includes some pretty spectacular carsickness situations. When your kid has barfed all over his carseat multiple times, and you find yourself an hour away from home, this little piddle pad comes in handy. You cant really protect your carseat from these unexpected, catastrophic situations, and the only thing you can do is find a hose at a public garden or park, spray down the whole carseat AND your kid, put your kid in his spare clothes from the diaper bag that you keep permanently in your car, and put this in the carseat. Its nice and waterproof and keeps his spare pants from soaking in the water from your sopping wet carseat. When he wets his carseat (again, it doesnt happen very often, so when it does, its usually about time that I should disassemble the carseat cover and wash it anyway), I put him in his spare pants and add this to the carseat to keep his bottom from getting wet on the drive home. Anyway, thats just what I do. :) But if they made it stickier on the bottom so it could grip a carseat better, I might actually keep it in there permanently! Washes great, holds up great, fits all our carseat weve owned.
