Sunscreen blends in and doesn’t leave a white cast

This sunscreen is AMAZING! Ive tried 2 Neutrogena sunscreens, CeraVes sunscreen, and the generic Sun Boat and Walmart brand sunscreens. All those brands are super oily, burn my eyes/skin, make my skin feel gross and just arent pleasant. The only downside is how small the bottles are. I got the biggest one and it will only last me maybe 3 months in the summer time, and its $20. I just started using SunBums and its FANTASTIC! (And heres some reasons as to why) #1.) I have bangs, usually when I wear sunscreen my bangs get plastered to my forehead due to the oil-yness of the sunscreen, but SunBums sunscreen doesnt make my skin oily and my bangs are free moving and flowers! #2.) Its super easy to apply (like obviously cause its sunscreen) but I mean in terms of it absorbing into your skin. Generally with other sunscreens I have to wipe some off of my face and rub it for like 20 seconds to get the white cast gone. But SunBum sunscreen just absorbs right into your skin and leaves no white cast! (I am a fair skinned ginger and it doesnt leave a white cast, I also have a darker skinned friend and it rubs right into his skin and doesnt leave a white cast either, not that he wears sunscreen, but I had him try it) #3.) It smells SO GOOD! It smells like Bananas, not like generic sunscreen, but just plain ol yummy Bananas! #4.) I have worn this all day and applied a couple times during the day, after wearing it for 2 days straight I have 0 acne from it! Usually after a day of wearing sunscreen I get like 4-12 pimples! #5.) Its super light on your face. Like i said before, it absorbs into your skin pretty quickly and it isnt too heavy. Its almost like a thicker CeraVe facial moisturizer feel & absorption wise. Some people have left a review saying that when their sunscreen came in it had a super close expiration date, my bottle had an expiration date set for October of 2024, I got it April of 2023. So thats plenty of time for me to get through this whole bottle, as I use sunscreen daily all throughout the year!

The love...I live by the beach in summer months and I vacation on a Caribbean island beach in winter, so Im in the sun often and have used Sun Bum sunscreens a lot, its definitely the best tanning and protection sunscreen I have ever used...even stands up to the intense Aruba sun, gives you a great tan with excellent sunburn protection, never get burnt red at all with these lotions. The hate...every single time Ive used Sun Bum lotion, that is many times...it always runs into my eyes at some point in the day and causes a very nasty burning in the eyes that is hard to get rid of...it doesnt just easily stop once it starts, it can mess up your day lol, this has been my experience and several other people who I have let use it. Im beginning to get a little concerned since I have been using Sun Bum products a couple years now and the severe burning eyes always happens every time consistently, so besides being an unpleasant nuisance...Im beginning to think about any damage it may cause. If it werent for the burning eyes, I would give it 10 stars as far as its effectiveness for tanning and protection against the sun. But I may have to go back to my other brand thats good, but not quite as good. Sun Bum is a great sunscreen lotion but the burning EYES drives me nuts!!

No white cast and not sticky. I wish i knew this sooner

I live in FL so I use sunscreen almost daily. When SunBum hit the market here, I tried it and it is amazing. I am fair skinned and I also forget to reapply sometimes but Sum Bum keeps me protected, even in water for extended periods. I recommend!

I bought this sunscreen to use for snorkeling through reefs in Mexico and it worked great! I only had to put one coat on and was in the sun for hours. I know it worked because the part of my skin that got exposed from between my shorts and rashguard shirt that didnt have any sunscreen on it got very burned. So, make sure you apply it to anywhere that may get exposed.

My husband, with his fair complexion, has always burned whenever we go on a beach/scuba dive vacation. We bought and used two 3.5 oz. tubes of Sun Bum in Egypt and Greece on a trip in May, and he did not burn, not even on his scalp. It also helps that this sunblock does not have a strong odor, and is easy to dispense in management amounts and apply. Usually I’ve burned in my decolletage when I spend hours in a tropical sun, but careful application each morning prevented that. It’s great that it’s coral-friendly for scuba diving. We’ll never use any other brand from now on.

Good smell too! It lacks that sunscreen smell that is such a turn-off. I have sensitive skin but never had any problems with this brand. I use many of their products and they are worth the extra cost over cheap store brands.
