Greater than one weekHes light. Bulbs are great. They look like regular bulbs, anyone that deals with dust till dawn bulbs knows what Im talking about. Just about every other bulb you look at, you can see some part of the bulb that contains electronic equipment. These bulbs completely see through glass. No extra components whatsoever. To the point where when I first opened I thought they sent me the wrong light and got aggravated. They didnt realized they were right ones. Thats just a little glass nipple inside the bulb. They look great, makes a huge difference, especially with this type of bulb. I know it seems a little frivolous complaining about the other type. Dont look like regular bulbs. But it does make a difference. Definitely recommend!

> 3 dayPut these in my front porch light -- they turn on every night around sundown. If you have a light youd like on every night, all night, get these; its pure genius. I love having the light be on if I do not make it home before dark or while away. Been using for about 8 months and very happy with them. Would recommend!

> 3 dayThis was my third purchase of Sunco bulbs. Needless to say Im very happy with them so far. These bulbs have photo sensors for dusk to dawn lighting, but so do my fixtures, so I would have preferred the bulbs did not have this feature. Also these are 60W equivalent, but I would have liked 100W equivalent (which apparently they dont make). Anyway, still 5 stars.

Greater than one weekThese have greatly improved the quality of my life! Seriously! It’s perfect for life in Michigan where timing the outsides lights in the winter can be challenging. You don’t want to keep your lights on all day but you want them on when you come home in the dark. These have never failed me after several months of use! Additionally, these don’t have any obnoxious or ugly hardware showing that it has a light sensor. What makes that so awesome is that when you’re traveling and away from home, it looks like someone is home because they turn on and off exactly as stated. So, that’s a nice extra touch! These have no cons for me! They’re bright, exactly the temperature I bought, and long lasting. Pros - durable and bright - they turn off and on exactly as stated - provide extra security when you’re not at home - elegant and pretty - because they’re LEDs and last long, they also help environmentally

Where do I use an ST64 light bulb?

What is a Dusk to Dawn Sensor?
Sunco Dusk to Dawn lights improve your outdoor security and provide bright light with the convenience of automated night lighting. Our D2D bulbs turn on when the sun sets and automatically turn off when light is detected. Just switch it on to power the LED and let the included sensor do all the work. No timer is needed. Automated lighting helps create the illusion your house is occupied, even when it is not. These clever lights activate on their own so you can run a last minute errand after work and still have exterior lights on when you return after dark.
Why does my Dusk to Dawn light flash on/off?
Sometimes reflective surfaces can fool a Dusk to Dawn sensor into thinking there is sufficient light available, so the light turns itself off. It then registers no light detected and turns itself back on. This continues in a loop of off/on/off/on so that the light can appear to be strobing or flashing.
Consider these potential solutions: 1. Point lights away from one another so their beams to do not strike the D2D sensor in nearby light fixtures, 2. Use a dual bulb fixture with bulbs pointing in different directions, 3. Move a light fixture above a garage window or away from a doorway window will reduce the chances a reflective surface might mimic a light source and fool the D2D sensor.
Do I need a timer to set the Dusk to Dawn feature?
No, there is no timer needed for Dusk to Dawn bulbs. Flip on the light switch and the included Dusk to Dawn Sensor does all the work for you. It turns on when light is absent and off again when light is detected.
What does Wet Rated mean & why is it important?
The terms Wet Rated in our product descriptions and technical specifications refer to moisture ratings. Safety should be the main focus when you choose wet rated light bulbs. Since water is a conductor you want to eliminate accidental electrocution to protect the people who install and use light fixtures, including your family, visitors, and clients. Using Wet Rated light bulbs is appropriate for wet areas where dripping water, rain, or other liquid that could flow or splash against your light fixture or LED bulb. Sunco indicates the moisture rating in our technical specifications so you know our products meet set standards. Wet areas are not just exterior locations (though you can only use Dusk to Dawn bulbs outside). Use Wet Rated light bulbs in kitchens and bathrooms in select safety zones. Established safety zones identify areas that might be susceptible to exposure to water, such as near a bathtub or sink faucet.
