Im very happy with these center punches. The adjustable springs make them easy to indent metal or wood. My old punch was really dull so these really make a difference. They come two to a set and there are also 2 extra needles. A real good value.

These center punches are spring loaded and therefore can be used with one hand when making an accurate center punch. I tested the punch on hardwood, aluminum, and hardened steel and it worked perfectly on all three materials (in the attached photo the hardened steel is on the left and the aluminum is on the right). They are well made and the knurled barrel make them easy to hold and use. An aspect of the center punch that I really like is the ability to accurately make the center mark. This can be accomplished by bringing in the center punch point at about a forty-five-degree angle to your mark, rotating the punch so that’s it’s vertical to your material, and then simply pushing down on the punch. Perfectly place center punch to start your drill. Two punches with two spare tips are a great value. Wish I would have had these years ago. I recommend the SuooTci Automatic Center Punch.

These are slim enough to easily center on your mark and push down on the tool to snap your punch mark. No more having the punch skate away when you hit it with a hammer. If you want a bigger mark just put your regular punch in the mark and hit with a hammer. Do not hit these punches with a hammer. At this price there is no reason to not have these in your tool box. It would have saved me a lot of time over the years to have these.

This is one of those tools you wont use often, but when you have a need for a center punch, its just the thing. The tools are well made, and two spare tips are included. There are no instructions, but its easy to figure out. Just line up the punch where you want it to penetrate, and then push down. The spring action cocks and then plunges the point down. The effects are subtle. In other words, dont expect to punch through without multiple tries. This tool is more for marking rather than punching through. The photo shows three holes punched in drywall and plywood. The middle hole shows where I punched the tool 12 times, and it still didnt penetrate the drywall. On the plywood, the middle shows shows 6 times, and it doesnt look a whole lot different from the other two holes. This tool definitely beats using a traditional nail setter or center punch and hammer, but dont expect it to penetrate without a lot of attempts.

Nice cheap set of center punches. Makes a great addition to the tool bag.

I keep a few of these auto punches around the shop in different tool bags and boxes so I always have one handy. But this is the first time I have gotten any with extra punch points. Honestly, I tend to lose a punch before I ever wear out the point, but I like that the vendor is thinking ahead.

These were a lot heavier than I expected. It’s well built and works great! Using light pressure you line up where you want and push. If you need to really indent use a hammer. The inner workings are sturdy and take whacks with out issue. Makes punch marks on anything with little effort.

These have so far worked really well for marking screw holes in wood and drywall. I tested its claims for metal on a piece of aluminum, and they both left a good, clear punch hole. These are made of nice stainless steel, which should give me a lot of use out of them. They are a great product, and priced really well, too.

Ive been in the market for a punch like this for a while. This is a nice set with spare points for replacement after they get dull and are easy to replace. It takes a few strokes to make a decent dimple in steel, but makes a nice dimple in wood.
