Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Nintendo Switch

I dont think theyve ever been played with. My grandson is now into Fortnite, so nothing else matters lol

I havent played Smash since gamecube, so this game is brand new for me. Everything about this game is excellent imo, 10 outta 10, but the online battle is frustratingly laggy.... I even spent 30 bucks on the recommended nintendo LAN adapter (being a brand loyalist) to make it play smoothly & it is doing nothing of the sort. I just got kicked out of an online 1v1 (which made me type this review) RIGHT when it started due to lag & then they warn me that Ill be banned if I dont play with a better connection..... Huh? But I have great wifi & your LAN adapter..... What gives, Nintendo? My Splatoon 2 runs super smooth, and Ive been playing that BEFORE I purchased the LAN. [Which I purchased specifically for SmashU in order to alleviate the lag problems] Also online matchmaking is pretty frustrating too, id rather wait in the waiting room for 2 minutes to get my preferred battles, then get placed in a battle setting I dont want. [Or as least give me the option to choose whether I want to play a 4v or continue to wait for my preferred 1v1] A patch update is coming out next week so maybe things will get better, the game has been out for less than a week so I understand its still fresh; but still, online play needs to run like butter in order to Smash FA REAL or else whats the point of playing? [[[ Ill give Smash Ultimate an honest 4 stars for now; that 1 missing star is for the frustrating online experience. If/when they fix it, then this game will easily be a pure 5, infinite fun masterpiece.))) God bless you all and Smash Responsibly! God is Gr8 (my Smash Tag) PS: But I will say this, in defense of the game; when the connection is running SMOOTHLY, trust me, the battles are GLORIOUS! It feels like youre watching an action packed Anime, so clean yet so BRUTAL! XD. I can literally watch the same replay of a fight for HOURS & it only gets better each view. Pick this game up, its a trip.

This game is worth the money!

All around great game. Love the way you can mix up the team battles between people and CPUs. Characters have different capabilities. Has taken over Mario Kart as our family Go-to game.

My eight year old son loves this game!

If you do not own this game for the Nintendo Switch, get it! It is one of the best games that we have played so far on this system. For parents: if you detest violence, dont get it. Other than that, it is a great game for when you want to play with friends.
