Wish I knew about this product years ago

This picture wire was exactly what I needed to help hang a few frames around the home! I wanted something that was made of stranded stainless steel and had a vinyl coating to help protect the fingers as well as the steel wire itself. I had trouble finding what I needed for some time since most of the other products are typically not made of stainless steel, are not vinyl coated, and are only available in short lengths for a relatively high price. This was the perfect combination of quality of materials, length of wire, and price that I was looking for. The wire comes wrapped on the spool, which makes this even easier to store for future projects. To top it all off, I felt assured that the wire would easily hold the weight that was specified. Do yourself a favor and dont buy expensive garbage quality picture wire from other brands or retailers. Stick with this brand and you wont go wrong! P.S. They also sell various wire sizes for heavier frames as well.

Easy to work with for wiring artwork to hang. No more poking fingers with sharp wire ends when using this plastic covered wire.

So far, Ive used this to wire two picture frames and am very happy with the result. It was surprisingly easy to work with, and held its shape when I wound the loose end around the wire in a tight spiral to finish the knot. No pierced fingers, easy to cut with a small pair of wire cutters, and seems very sturdy. It provides a professional, finished appearance, too.

When used with the recommended tie and wrap method, this framing wire makes for a very professional looking job that is durable and so easy on your fingers. You can find several YouTube videos on the proper wiring method to hang a painting. That method seems to be made for this Softstrand wire. If you are an artist and doing your own framing, your customers will appreciate the quality this wire adds to your work when presented for framing. Softstrand comes in different gauges suitable for a wide range of sized paintings. It is the only wire I will use
