Susan Bates 5-1/2-Inch Bamboo Handle Silvalume Head Crochet Hook, 9mm, Blue

I really enjoy the feel of these hooks - I ordered two other sizes as well and have the complete set of smaller sizes. The bamboo handles make it easy on my hands and I seem to get less hand fatigue while using them. For me, the Susan Bates hooks are my primary choice to use for my crochet projects. While I own a compete set of the Boye hooks too, I still seem to reach for the Bates hooks first.

I thought this would be better since I have arthritis but you dont hold on to the bamboo part so bamboo handle was in the way

For any one who crochets and has arthritis in their hands, this crochet hook is terrific. It allows me to hang on to the hoik with less stress, pain and cramping. Ive showed it to several of my friends that crochet.

I have been crocheting through out my life but recently taken it up as a business. I thought I had a full set of hooks but have learned of larger sizes. I am glad to add this one to my collection. Though I have not used it yet, it feels very smooth and comfortable in my hand. I am anxious to find a pattern that calls for this size.

I was given one of these crochet hooks as a gift recently. I was so pleased with how comfortable they were to handle that I decided to order then in all sizes :) you will not be disappointed they are made well and easy to use. And the hook design really catches the yarn !

I like these over the soft ones

Thank you for making these - I use rubber grippy things on most of my hooks but some hooks just wont take them haha. These are amazing for the hours I crochet every day. Easy to hold, no cramps and I can get extra hours because of it. Also never gets hot or cold because of the wood
