> 3 dayThis is my 4th Swiffer Vac, and its a must have for my hard floor surfaces. The swiffer pad picks up dust, hair, dirt and small particles while the vac takes care of larger particles and debris - all in one swoop! I will continue to buy and use this product, but would LOVE to see a couple improvements: 1. The lifespan of a Swiffer Vac is about 18 mos. Honestly, for the price its not bad. But by that time it either loses suction, breaks at handle or just stops completely. 2. The positioning of the on/off button is such that when being used your hand always turns it off mid use. It also puts extra pressure at the curve of the handle (an already weak point) and it breaks. Overall, I love this and will keep using it.

> 3 dayEasy to use, however, battery doesnt last very long and the on/off switch is in a bad place. Too easy to turn off while using. It picks up hair ok but not much else.

22-11-2024Great item for camping trailer; dont forget to order the filters. Empty the dirt collector every time you use it. Change the filter when coated with dirt that doesnt clear when tapped.

> 3 dayIve purchased 3 of these over the years to do daily vaccum of dog hair on hard surface floors. They do a decent job and are handy. The problem is the batteries degrade over time to where they will only operate for a minute or two. First one had nicads and last two had lithium. Lithium are a little better but both died and there is no way to replace the them. I watched a YouTube on how someone replaced theres by soldering in new ones and tried that. Lots of disassembly and a waste of time and money. Ill buy another because theres nothing else in this price range and convenience for what I need. Just understand it is a disposable product. Up date. Im done with Swiffer vacs. Price has more than doubled and theyve done nothing to address the battery failure problem. Solution would be to design a replaceable battery pack. But like cell phones, its throw it away and buy another. I lied. I bought #4. Just because there is nothing else that is a quick dog hair picker upper. And it was $20 off. This one is considerably louder than the previous 3 but I dont see in increase in vacuum power. No doubt in about a year the batteries will degrade to the point its unusable.
