I bought this because we just put in hardwood floors and I wanted something to easily clean the floors. This Swiffer for the the bill. It has a small collection chamber from the vacuum. You have to be careful reattaching it but it does work. Mostly I’m just using the duster option and it works perfectly.

Bought this because I got tired of just using swiffers and then a vacuum cleaner. I saw this and figured it must be amazing. Out the box, its like your standard swiffer but with a vacuum. Same handle, same length and neck. The material for the neck is hollow and can easily be bent, which you would think, considering this is a swiffer with a vacuum, they would have made it a little stronger. The suction power isnt the best but decent. As i used it, i noticed the the swiffer pad picked up more hair and dirt than the actual vacuum part. The design is a little flawed. The mouth of the vacuum is wide, however the suction is is uneven. The majority of the suction is in the middle which is why the swiffer pad is attached to the back of it. For best results, I suggest slower motions across the floor so you can get the most out of this item. The idea of 2 in 1 is great, but could use some modifications regarding the vacuum portion. The item is light despite having a vacuum component. The storage for the dirt is small. The filter is good, i didnt see any dirt on the other side of it. In all, its a neat concept with some flaws. Does it get the job done, kinda. For heavier dirt, this may not be the best option but for everyday clean up of dust, pet hair etc, this a good choice. Its best to charge the item before usage of course. Update; This is both good and bad. The bad, the charge on the swiffer vaccum does not last long, meaning you have maybe 15-20 minutes of straight usage before it dies out. Which is understandable, unless you are cleaning and entire apt in one shot, or multiple rooms, you will not complete it. Again in order to make the most of this vacuum, you will need to be at a slower pace than normal when using a regular vacuum. Also, it takes quite some time to fully charge once the battery dies. The good, my charging cable became damaged and unable to use anymore. I contacted swiffer customer service and they provided me with a free replacement charger. This is actually really good because you cannot locate or purchase the charger anywhere and the charger for this item is only for this item, meaning you cant use a similar looking charger to charge the vacuum because it wont work.

Ive purchased 3 of these over the years to do daily vaccum of dog hair on hard surface floors. They do a decent job and are handy. The problem is the batteries degrade over time to where they will only operate for a minute or two. First one had nicads and last two had lithium. Lithium are a little better but both died and there is no way to replace the them. I watched a YouTube on how someone replaced theres by soldering in new ones and tried that. Lots of disassembly and a waste of time and money. Ill buy another because theres nothing else in this price range and convenience for what I need. Just understand it is a disposable product. Up date. Im done with Swiffer vacs. Price has more than doubled and theyve done nothing to address the battery failure problem. Solution would be to design a replaceable battery pack. But like cell phones, its throw it away and buy another. I lied. I bought #4. Just because there is nothing else that is a quick dog hair picker upper. And it was $20 off. This one is considerably louder than the previous 3 but I dont see in increase in vacuum power. No doubt in about a year the batteries will degrade to the point its unusable.

Okay, this little sucker (pun intended) is great! I love being able to vacuum and use the dry wipes at the same time. Its perfect for light cleaning when I dont want to lug out my corded vacuum. Ive also been using the wet wipes with it and it works great for that too. I should have gotten this way sooner and I really am amazed at how well it works. Very happy with this purchase.
