These magnetic hooks are fantastic, very strong adhesion. Be warned though, once you separate them , do not put them together again without the white plastic washer or you will have 2 hooks you cannot use., as I do. I saw the warning on the directions too late.

I wasnt sure about these at first, was afraid they would just fall off the side of my grill due to the weight of the cooks tools. But they stick well and hold all the weight.

I think I didnt read the description well enough. These are extremely strong magnets that even come with instructions and warnings! If you are looking for simple hook magnets to hold light weight items, choose another simpler type. I gave these to the thrift shop and bought simple ones from ACE Hardware to hold our scissors on the side of the washing machine.

I have these outside holding up solar lights against a chain-link fence. They do not rust, and they adhere extremely well despite the weather.

They work well for what I need them for!
