waste of money, i tried to use it for my locker and all it did was slide when i tried to hang my lab coat (thin). Dont spend your money on it.

Im a HS English teacher and purchased these to hold up my class cell hotel. Definitely the strongest solution to that need!

These things are terrific, with excellent design. Using them to hang pot lids on a hidden side of my fridge. But be careful taking them apart! They were shipped two magnets together, with a thin disc of plastic in between to make them separable. The first set the plastic dropped in my lap, the two magnets clomped together...and I couldnt get them apart! I felt like such an idiot! Laughed so hard at myself. Had to have a friend and two pairs of pliers get them separated. The separation disc works, and did for my second set, but best if you know in advance to be careful.

The vertical pull is at most 5lbs. If I read this correctly it states 30lbs, I used two on my picture and it just slide down the magnetic wall. Horizontal pull was strong so its not he wall. Tried other metal services and I can easily slide up and down with min force. They will hold your car keys at best.

Strong magnet hooks for the size and price, although 30lb vertical hold is only possible under certain conditions. Pulling to remove from my fridge door felt much less resistance than 20lbs (compared to the 20lb cat litter containers I often handle and 20lb dumbbell)however its still more than enough for my needs.
