I bought this to fix my daughter’s screen after buying one for my IPad. These kits make your iPad like new again! It takes patience and I suggest finding a good tutorial online to help install, but once done properly it is just like new! Works great! IPad said they won’t replace these screens, they just give partial credit for a new one, so this was a great diy option. Highly recommend.

You can’t use fingerprint id with the included home button. You MUST use your original home button if you want to keep Touch ID. If you don’t really use the fingerprint scanner then the new home button works fine. Installed and every part if touch screen works perfectly. Go slow, do it right and everything will work. People who can’t use half their screen did it wrong or ripped something or didn’t fully insert cables. After 2 months the screen is still working and looking like new on my White ipad6 Wifi only model.

I wanted to leave a review to say that this replacement digitizer screen is of the same quality as an original Apple digitizer. My son broke the screen on his ipad two times. The first digitizer I bought from a different manufacturer the screen was not complete transparent and text and icons looked fuzzy through the glass. It also flexed terribly where as you touched the glass your finger the digitizer glass would bend enough to touch to lcd screen. The home button was also loose and as you would depress it it would feel squishy. This one that I recently bought and installed on my sons ipad however is of excellent quality. The glass is very clear and comparable to an original Apple one. The home button is solid as you press it. And the glass doesnt bend where when you press on the digitizer it touches the lcd underneath. I would say an Apple original digitizer stiffness is at 100 percent while this replacement is maybe at 85 to 90 percent stiff compared to Apple. The only thing is with all these non apple replacement digitizers is the adhesives used are no good. They don’t stick. The adhesive used by Apple on an original digitizer is a high grade industrial adhesive that is meant to be permanent. I had to use contact cement with this digitize (not a good glue) And even then it was still lifting at some corners. It’s ok though because if my son breaks his ipad digitizer a third time it’s easy to remove because the glue is not permanent and he uses an ipad case which keeps the screen from lifting. Excellent digitizer very happy with it. If my son breaks it again I will definately buy this one again. Thank you.

This fixed my screen, having the button was useful since i was unable to save the old touch id button from the mess the first screen was in. After 3 weeks my kids ipad screen was cracked again... im not sure why it broke it was stored in his backpack and he is not giving me any details. I have reordered this replacement due to the ease of installing/working with the first kit. If this second screen breaks i will look for another brand/cheaper price in the future... Maybe he is too rough with his iPad i dont know.

It was a gratifying experience to fix my friend’s iPad so easily. My only recommendation is supplying a sharper tool to pry the old digitizer off. I had to use a razor blade. All in all it was a fun experience.

This product does not work well their are dead spots that don’t work on the screen I called amazon since they are the ones taking the order and no help I Canceled my prime membership and my music membership do not buy anything electronics through them it’s best to go to someone that can Guarantee their product

Home button didnt work at all, top half of screen works as a touch, but you cant swipe with it. DO NOT BUY. I know its cheap, but just go buy OEM or from a reputable place.
