Im a home DIY kinda guy, and have always used WD40 or Marvel Mystery Oil for my drilling or cutting. They never seemed to work great, so I read the reviews on this ProTap fluid and gave it a shot. All I have to say is wow. It works great and is light years ahead of the other methods I used as far as being smooth and less smoke and heat. When I finish the small tube Ill be buying the large size next.

Second time to purchase. This is good cutting oil. Only problem is keeping up with the cap, which gets lost easily in a shop. This new one arrived without a cap, shame on the distributor. Not worth the trouble to send it back.

Works like a charm. Makes bits cut much faster and keeps them cooler.

Slicker than snot on a wet doorknob! Kept my project neat holes were clean and on point. Drill bit squealed a few times, but that was operator error. Otherwise worked like a champ!

Im going to try to be fair in this write-up. But save yourself some money and just buy a 3-in-1 oil if your intention is drilling stainless steels and titaniums. Doing my form 1s I usually just use 3&1 to lubricate my bit when Im going through baffles and I can cut through fast using regular cobalt bits. 3 &1 is never let me down and is found readily available in any box store for two bucks. I decided to use this product and I wasnt impressed, I actually thought 3&1 had better lubricity and allowed me to cut through faster. For using a spring load center punch tap magic isnt better or worse than anything else on the market. Personally I would save a few bucks and just go with the regular 3&1.

Got this for a small milling product. It allows the milling bits to bite well but is also very running. Be prepared for lots of run-off if used in excess

I have tried several other cutting fluids over the years and this in my opinion is the best for drilling and tapping.
