I have used this product before and it does help reduce heat while drilling which dulls drill bits faster . I was impressed with it when I used it and decided to get my own . Saw it on Amazon while placing another order so I added the tap magic to my order . It’s a 4 ounce bottle but will last me a long time since I don’t drill very often . Since you only need just a little each time you drill , it should last me a while . Price was right for the quantity so I consider this to be an economical purchase . Happy that Amazon had this on hand since other sources didn’t have it handy .

This stuff is amazing. Makes drilling/tapping a breeze. Also started using it with the hacksaw and it makes for more efficient cuts.

Good cutting fluid. I like having a couple of the small bottles around the shop.

Fluid very thin compared to the others I tried, however it kept the bits cool, actually surprised me because of the thinness of the fluid, it could of been a misguided observation of the fluid not lasting because of the thought of it being thin. Bottom line it did a great job of keeping the bits cool

not many chemicals bother me , but the acid in the tap magic will burn your eyes from a distance.. the vapors alone will do it .. Lung irritation is mild , but overall theres stuff that works well and doesnt burn your eyes so i wont e buying this again

This smells much better than 3-in-oil, and works much better too.

I bought this for a M98 Mauser project of threading the scope mounting holes. Mausers receivers are notoriously hard. Mine wasnt but this was a great lube for threading the scope mounting holes (6-48).
