> 24 hourI am very impressed with this umbrella! As soon as I took it out of the box, I commented to my wife how heavy it was. This umbrella is well built... the framework is heavy duty... the spring is strong... and the umbrella popped right up as soon as I pressed the button. It also closes by pressing the button, so you get one-hand operation. The fabric is nice, as is the handle. There is really nothing at all I can complain about. It comes with a sleeve to place the umbrella in. For this price point, it would be hard to find a better umbrella.

> 24 hourThis umbrella is definitely bigger and good enough for two people and considering its size it is very compact but there is a good heft to it. Carrying it around in my bag might be a bit too much but I will definitely leave it in my car so I have it handy. Really well made, the features to open and close are super cool, like James Bond gadget cool. I cant wait for a rainy day now!

> 24 hourIve had several mini umbrellas over my life. Most of them are all toast now due to strong winds. That aint happening with this one. Its built to take on the wind and rain and leave you dry or as dry as you can be in strong wind and rain. It is just a little over 12 closed while it opens up to a roomy 40 canopy and as others have suggested, its heavier than most this size. It only weighs in at 1 pound with the cover and I dont really consider that heavy, just a better build with better parts. It opens up fast with a press of the button and has another neat trick... once its open and you want to close it, just press the button again and the top collapses down so all you have to do is press it back into the handle. Pretty neat! The heart of this thing are the springs in the ribs. Thats what opens it, closes it and keeps strong winds from turning it inside out. You can see them in the photos. You can also see in one pic where I was trying to replicate what would happen in a strong wind by flexing it with my hand. I wasnt taking it easy on it either. The springs brought it right back. You can see how well it sheds water where I poured water over it and just how little water was left behind. The water proof coating seems to work better than all my previous umbrellas and allows it to dry out quicker too. With a three year warranty, I dont see how you can go wrong with this. Its half the price I have paid for other Totes umbrellas and the build on this is so much better. Its coming with me from now on!

> 24 hourThis is a great compact umbrella that has worked nice for travel. The push button works for both opening and closing the umbrella. It collapses to ~12 in length and is easily small enough to put in a backpack. Appears that it should hold up well as it is sturdy.

> 24 hourI ordered this umbrella because the reviews led me to believe it was strong and wind resistant, but I used it for the first time today and I have never had an umbrella flip inside-out as many times as this one. I ended up getting drenched by the rain anyways.

> 24 hourBefore writing this review, I waited until I had a chance to use this umbrella at least twice. I needed a new travel umbrella since my previous one disappeared into the bowels of my teenagers room. The thing that caught my eye about this one is that it is slightly larger than my last one and is supposed to be windproof, one area my previous one was weak on. So far in testing, it has held up to the wind. Not quite a squall, but a few solid gusts. IT didnt even flinch. It dried quickly and operates smoothly. Everything you usually need in a compact travel umbrella. One thing you should be aware of (as others have mentioned) is that it is heavier than other compact umbrellas I have owned. Im going to guess this is due to the reinforced ribs. Personally, I would rather have it be a bit heavier and able to withstand strong winds than be lighter. But its something to be aware of if weight is a priority for you.

> 24 hourThis umbrella is sturdy and well made. It has some weight to it, this is no cheap dollar store umbrella. The material is thick, the metal rods are strong. It opens with a pop and closes tight. It comes with a carrying bag to hold it secure and drop easily into a bag or backpack. I live in an area that gets plenty of wind and rain in the winter and I have gone through many umbrellas over the years. Some were more expensive but none were better quality. I expect this one to last for many winters.
