> 24 hourThese work, but I cannot get them to work with Alexa at all. I can control them from their own app, but only if I am within range of the same Wi-Fi network. No remote operation.

> 24 hourYou set them up, which is frustrating. Then you get them to work and a couple of weeks later they seem to forget. So you set them up again and theres nothing you can do to get them to work. Server unresponsive...what?

> 24 hourThat app you have to use to hook them up. Stops working when you try to add the device.

> 24 hourWorked when we first got it. Difficult to sync, but finally worked. But now, after dropping the signal, unable to sync it again. Followed the instructions in resetting the plug. Still, would not sync. I have several other smart plugs from other companies that have worked beautifully. Not so with this one. Suggest buying from a different dealer as this one is a dud.

> 24 hourThe app kept telling me to place the router and device and phone closer, but they were within a foot of one another. I gave up after 30 minutes and threw it away.

> 24 hourThis is a great smart plug, functionally speaking. It works just like the [much] more expensive ones at a fraction of the cost, making it a great value. The one irritating thing, and its not unique to the Tenda, is that in order to set up the plugs you have to download yet another proprietary app, Tenda Beli. I have a lot of smart plugs and smart light bulbs around the house, and it is getting to be more than annoying that every brand has their own proprietary app in the App Store. Its even more annoying because every app works just the same. Just. The. Same. And I also know that the brains of all these smart accessories are made by the same one or two Chinese companies, so theyre all really no different inside. Anyway, once you download the app, you go through the usual process of registering, verifying your email, then logging in. Once logged in, download the Tenda Beli skill to Alexa, set it up/log in, and you should be good to go. Note that you only have to do all this for the first plug you install; additional plugs are automatically identified. Once set up, they work as expected. To me, its worth a little setup irritation for the money you save with these plugs.
