Does what it is supposed to. If you have the large Tetra over-the-side filter unit you probably go through a box of these a month like I do. Maybe if we all holler at once Tetra will hear us a make a refillable model of these.

I found myself the proud, new owner of a used Tetra 26312 Whisper EX 45 Filter. It had no filters with it aside for the used one within. I bought this as soon as I researched the type needed and it works fine! Keeps the tank clear, fit as it should. I have no problems with this product at all.
