Seriously way too expensive for a calculator

No problems with this calculator. It is now on its second year of use. Very happy with this purchase.

Works great and battery lasts forever.

I teach statistics, and use the TI calculators all the time. Mostly I use a TI-84. Unfortunately, it doesnt always show up on the overhead projector very well. For that reason, and to have a spare for students who forget theirs, I decided to buy the new back lit version. The difference on the overhead is amazing! This shows up great. Not only that, the graphs look much nicer than on the old one, and it has a few additional features that the old one doesnt. Considering that this was marked down due to package damage, I got a good price on it as well. I really didnt see that much damage to the package, but I sure did love the price! Only one caveat - the calculator doesnt seem as robust as the older models. It is nice and light though, so I suppose thats a trade-off. I didnt think the blue was quite as pretty in real life as it is in the picture, but I didnt buy it for looks, so thats fine with me.

I purchased this for my wife who is a math teacher, she loves it! We havent used it long enough to know about the battery life, but it seems quite responsive. Great color.

My sons have used these in high school and college because they can do most anything. Most recently youngest was told he could not use this on finance test so I guess they can do everything. Its also great looking calculator.

I had to replace my TI-84 Plus Silver edition for a college course, and I chose this calculator to replace it. While all the functions work as intended and it is easy to pick up if you have previously used a TI-84 family calculator, I found the case to be hard to get off at times. On more than one occasion I have dropped the calculator due to this.
