> 3 dayWell constructed and good quality up-to-date calculator approved by my sons High School Math teacher. The color graphing is much easier to see and the processing speed is faster than it used to be with the older color graphing models. Also, it is great to be able to choose a different color calculator for ease of identification. A definite thumbs up!

> 3 dayThis is a great calculator, I love it to death and is very easy to use. It has a very long battery life so you will only see yourself charging it about once a month. I grew very fond of this calculator until the screen cracked after having it for a little over 2 months. I regret not getting a third-party warranty for this, but the options here on amazon have lots of fine print that make them very complicated to get a replacement, and TIs warranty does not cover this sort of thing, as it only covers possible failures by malfunctioning software or manufacturing errors. The actual crack is not in the glass itself, but in the screen that displays the image (The pictures show it, evidenced by the big puddle of black chemicals seeping out of the crack). I have no exact reason of why this happened, but I believe it was in part of the built-in screen cover not protecting the screen very well. In other calculators, the cover will slide on from the top, protecting the screen from stress; the CEs cover slides in from the bottom and leaves about a centimeter gap between the screen and cover. This would not be bad normally, but when a little weight or pressure is applied to the cover it bends toward the screen and touches the top of it. I believe that this contact caused some excess pressure to be distributed into the screen itself and led to the screen cracking. I admit all responsibility for the screen cracking, but this would not have happened if the screen cover was designed better, such as in almost every other TI calculator. I strongly advise if you are to get this calculator get a good hard carrying case for this, as you should not trust the built-in Impact-resistant slide case for any protection of the screen in any situation; I trusted it and I got a cracked screen for it. Only thing this cover seems to protect is the buttons. I also advise getting a solid protection warranty that can cover most if not all damage done to this calculator and be sure to always read the fine print to see what actually is protected. tl;dr: Screen cracked after some above-normal (AKA not babying it) stress. If you are to buy this calculator dont trust the Impact-resistant slide case cover and buy a good warranty you trust. It is a great calculator without this flaw and that is easy to use and get used to.
