> 3 dayI am on course to take three math classes in a row and I needed a calculator to last me through those classes and beyond. I bought this with the understanding that it is new and not a refurbished or renewed model. When it came and I opened the box I saw tape was holding the package together and when I opened it to inspect the calculator, the cords were not wrapped up and were hanging loose inside. I went back through the Amazon page to see if I had missed anything, but I confirmed that I had bought a new calculator and that it wasnt under the renewed page. On a sticker posted on the back of the package it is even listed as new. By all means it doesnt look heavily used, however I cant give it anything over one star when the package and the calculator and cords come in the state that they were in.

19-11-2024Im sure this is a good calculator, I havent gotten too far into the functions (though there is a steep learning curve). There are a few other issues that make the product difficult to use. 1) Who thought that using light blue and green together on a black surface would be helpful? Its impossible for me to tell the difference between the two colors that represent 2nd and alpha modes. I had to use a flashlight to be able to see the colors clearly, something that you may not have access to in a classroom. Another color that contrasts better would have been good. I was able to go off of the location, blue in the upper left of a key, green in the upper right, to tell which key/mode I was looking for. Except, the off button/mode is swapped. Just really poorly thought out. 2) No backspace button is a crime. Sure, you can use the arrow keys to go back, then use the delete key to clear the character under the cursor. But a calculator that was a fraction of the price of this, actually has a backspace button. Overall, Im not really that impressed with this calculator. I got it for the extra memory, as it will handle larger tables than my cheaper one. But if you dont need to process large tables (40+ entries), stick with a less expensive model. This one is actually disappointing, especially considering the price. If you cant get the UI correct, what are you even doing?

> 3 dayGreat calculator! Downside, horrible shipping despite having prime. It took an additional 5 days to receive. Wasnt expecting it to arrive in a non descript plain brown box with the cords laying next to it. No instructions on how to use it either. Figured itd be in its original packaging from Texas instrument. I did email and they assured me was brand new. Sill weird though! Im giving it 4 based solely on the shipping. Otherwise I dont have any issues with the product itself.
