> 24 hourIt was really fast to install and works as advertised. The only minor changes I made were to put the back of the doorway (tail end) first with the spacer strip installed to make sure it lined up with the bottom of the door. This was because I dry fitted it first and found out that the front end was easier to line up with the back end installed first. I also had to use a thin piece of metal (file) to push the spacer strip into alignment with the front piece. The cat used the doorway immediately with no issues.

> 24 hourSo adorable, and a fun addition. Not hard to install at all. Try to have an assistant if possible (for the door removal and reinstallation), but I did it myself. Recommendation: cut the template on the inside diameter of the drawing. Not a show-stopper, but it would have been a little better. AND my recommendation gives you wiggle room to make a ¼ mistake. This made of the type of PVC as trim and molding. Light, sturdy, paintable.

> 24 hourWorks fine, and I managed to get it installed using a dremel, but be cautious that the stencil they provide in the XL kit is actually the wrong size. Much too small. You’ll need to create a new one.

> 24 hourI absolutely love this product. It worked great for us to put on our basement door and then the door to the litter room. Now we dont have to leave the doors open and it the largest size was big enough to fit my 30 lb cat. The reason I have 4stars for easy to install is because the pattern they give you, you then have to cut out and then trace which can cause it to be uneven. If they just gave you the pattern already cut so you would only need to trace then it would be easier. I did find it took some very careful cutting because we did have the raised panel boards so you have to be very careful. But overall super awesome product and it looks wonderful on the door compared to other plain cat doors. LOVE LOVE LOVE

> 24 hourI haven’t installed mine yet but I figured I would write a quick review for this. I had debated on buying the regular sized one, but opted to buy the XL, even though it looked like it might have been overkill for my needs. I have a really Chonky cat and I thought “he SHOULD be able to fit through a 7 inch hole, I could probably get away with just getting the regular size”. I’m glad I went with the XL instead. If you have a fat cat, don’t risk it with the smaller one. Just shoot for the XL. I took this out of the box and immediately laid it over top of him and I am truly astonished by how fat my cat is. Now I can keep the dogs out of the litter box room for good! UPDATE: This was easy to install and came with instructions and a template in the box :) it works as it should, keeping the dogs out of the cat box room while giving even our gargantuan kitty an entry to the potty. Would recommend.

> 24 hourI really do love this product. But when I bought this item is when I moved and I just put it on yesterday. When I was cutting the hole I was looking for the screws and I didnt get any. I had to go hardware store and find the screws to fit it.

> 24 hourThis worked perfectly to keep my dogs from eating cat food. Now my cats have their own space to eat.

> 24 hourWe put this in our basement door since my cat’s litter is downstairs & it would get a little chilly in the house. So we can keep it closed now & It works great & it looks very cute. Got lots of compliments. Most importantly my cat loves the freedom of going up & down cwhen he wants.

> 24 hourThis is a super cute concept. It is a piece of plastic trim that goes over a door cut-out to allow cats to pass through. You make a rough cut in the door, and the trim covers up any imperfections for a clean look! I used a corded jigsaw with a scrolling blade (to enable tighter, finer turns). We put this in a closet in our basement that we are going to use for litter boxes so that we can keep the door closed.
