> 3 dayMy HP zbook 15 G2 was running hot. The CPU was getting throttled down substantially. I downloaded a temp monitoring program and all the cores were at 100 degrees Celsius. The thermal paste from the factory was dried out and pretty much doing nothing. I cleaned it off and applied the Kryonaut paste. Now my temps dont ever get above 90 degrees Celsius and hover below 50 when doing nothing strenuous such as writing this review.

> 3 dayKryonaut is the first thermal compound Ive used that maintains lower temperatures within the first month of re-pasting. I initially re-pasted my Dell G5 with MX-4 and got much better temperatures, then the CPU temps gradually rose. I redid my MX-4 paste and the same happened, it gradually got hotter. The Kryonaut is still giving me max temperatures of 85C under stressful CPU loads when the MX-4 was spiking into the 90s and thermal throttling. I believe the problem wasnt with MX-4, because Ive used it on 2 other laptops without issues, but with the contact between the CPU and heat-sink on this laptop, so I think the viscosity of this paste is the primary benefit in this case.

> 3 dayRe-applied my friends GPU paste with it. His temps went from 91c under load to 63c. Id say thats pretty good to me. Although I wouldnt recommend eating it, the thermal paste is NOT tasty. Dont do it.
