> 24 hourThis puzzle arrived quickly and is made of nice quality cardboard with vivid clear colorful printing- no odor. The puzzle board was shrink wrapped; however, the board arrived damaged on 4 of the 6 corners, the picture shows the plies of cardboard and the WORST of the damaged corners in the shrink wrap. I cant tell if the shrink wrap was too tight and split the corners-since the corners were exposed or if handing caused the damage to the corners- so Ill try to glue the multiple plies of carboard back together. I highly advise you to take a picture of the assembled puzzle prior to dismantling the pieces. It appeared easy enough...just 13 triangle puzzle pieces, but what makes this challenging is that 2 of the 3 sides may match multiple pieces. I passed this product to my husband to try and its been a half hour and hes still working at it. Just for my habit I will have to find proper storage for this puzzle board, a pouch or something, to keep all of the pieces intact and so the corners wont get damaged further from handling. Since I have 2 of these puzzles and will look to see if any more are available...I may just make a wooden storage box to house all of these triazzle puzzles to protect them and keep them together. The board measures 11.25 top to bottom and 12.75 side to side at its widest points. My husband did say that unlike regulkar puzzles without a perimeter, since this is recessed into a boundary board when you find youve placed a piece wrong it not easy to remove the one piece since there are no exposed edge so you have to pick the corner which may delaminate the puzzle piece. Overall, I would recommend these Ravensburger Triazzles. As for the cost...if you know whom the recipient is and that they enjoy and appreciate challenging brain teaser puzzles the price is right; however, I would not recommend this for someone that just enjoys a standard puzzle as they may get frustrated and not enjoy nor complete the puzzle- so for that the price wouldnt be worth it.

> 24 hourLooks like it would be so simple but it is not! One time I will pick it up and it almost puts itself together. The next time, I have spent hours on it and still don’t get it right! Good luck!

> 24 hourI made two mistakes with this puzzle: 1. I should have taken a picture of the puzzle before I removed it from the shrink wrap, and 2. I should have numbered the pieces on the back so I would know how to put it together! Im joking, but this puzzle is a challenge. You definitely use your problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning as advertised. I have several ThinkFun games and I think they are fantastic. The only thing I would change with this puzzle would be to include a sleeve of some kind to put it in when not in use. Definitely a winner.

> 24 hourThink Fun Triazzle Picture-Matching Brainteaser (Frogs) Puzzle for Ages 8 and Up is super hard. The grandkids all gave up before completing it. And I had to use the picture, which of course was cheating, to get the pieces back in place so I could put it away. So many are similar, if you miss the first one, the rest just dont come out right.

> 24 hourWhen my husband opened the package for this puzzle he asked why I got a little kids puzzle when our kids are teenagers. I promptly took it apart, mixed up the pieces and challenged him to put it back together. An hour later, he still hadnt succeeded. This puzzle is deceptively simple. Sixteen triangular pieces in a larger triangular frame with various butterflies (I think there are 6 or 7 different butterflies) along the edges of each piece. You have to arrange the triangles so that the proper butterflies line up along each edge to create a whole butterfly. The problem is, it is very easy to fit two sides, but not so easy to fit all three. There is only one right solution that will align all the butterflies, but there are seemingly infinite possibilities that dont work (Im sure the number of possibilities can be worked out mathematically, but thats above my pay grade). If you look closely, there are logical ways to start and proceed. Corner pieces, for instance, already have two sides given and there are only two or three pieces which will fit in any given corner. Then from there you can find other areas where there are only a couple of choices and try to eliminate them down to the correct fit. Using this bit of logic (and a whole lot of luck), I managed to complete the puzzle in about half an hour). The puzzle is made of reasonably sturdy cardboard, but Im not sure how well it will hold up with repeated use. It is also certainly not waterproof (much less glue, slime or other such substances), so it is best kept away from young children. Im also not sure how much re-play value this puzzle has. Theoretically you can solve it over and over again and it wouldnt necessarily get easier over time. But I wonder how many people will be motivated to do so - I cant say that I am. This is a decent puzzle for an older child or adult, but probably something best suited for a school, retirement home or other facility where it will get used by multiple people.

> 24 hourI originally ordered this for a 13-year old but decided to give it a go myself (and Im 13 a few times over.) It is challenging, although solvable with patience. The pieces are relatively sturdy and easy to manipulate. I see this very much as a solo activity, but I guess you could work it through with a partner. I really enjoyed it and think that the originally intended recipient would have enjoyed it a lot...and been able to solve it with the same time and patience.

> 24 hourThis is a cute & fun puzzle. I dont liek that it comes pre-solved, as I would prefer more of a mystery. The boarder design on this 1 makes it easier than the version I have that has no boarder & did not come pre-built to show you the answer. It will keep someone who likes puzzles entertained

> 24 hourIm a full-time single parent and I work from home about 80% of the time. The summers are rough with no school, so there is a constant struggle to find things to keep my daughter busy. She loves doing jigsaw puzzles, so I figured I would give this a try. She LOVES it! She has been at it for about 2 hours now without a peep, except this thing is not easy! I might have to get another one of these when she figures this one out. Highly recommend getting this for your kiddos, especially if you are a work from home single parent like me! UPDATE: I now have one gripe about the puzzle. The answer* is glue to the back. Would be nice to have it as a separate paper. This is one of those puzzles you shouldnt use picture of the final product before assembly.

> 24 hourA puzzle and a brain teaser all in one. Youre going to need a lazy afternoon to tackle this one. I took a photo before I started and Im glad I did because I had to give up and go do other things. Its good quality with nice thick pieces, but the pieces were bowed a bit when all of them were in the frame so the surface was not flat. Perhaps the humidity here caused them to swell. A sleeve to store it in would be nice since I didnt trust the pieces to stay put. It fits in a 2-gallon Ziploc. I will pull this out again at a family gathering. I think the adults will have fun with it, but it might be too frustrating for the kids.
