> 3 dayI got this for my kids and ended up really enjoying it myself! It is a LOT more challenging than it looks. Definitely take a picture of it before you scramble the pieces. The puzzle itself is sturdy and seems well constructed. I just wish it had like a lid or a storage sleeve or something. I ended up storing it in our game cupboard, but if I didnt have a spot like that to put it where it wouldnt get knocked around, Im not sure where else I could have kept it. Something to bear in mind, as once you take the plastic off when it arrives, theres nothing holding everything in place. Fun puzzle. Definitely difficult. Would really love it if it werent for the no lid thing.

> 3 dayA puzzle and a brain teaser all in one. Youre going to need a lazy afternoon to tackle this one. I took a photo before I started and Im glad I did because I had to give up and go do other things. Its good quality with nice thick pieces, but the pieces were bowed a bit when all of them were in the frame so the surface was not flat. Perhaps the humidity here caused them to swell. A sleeve to store it in would be nice since I didnt trust the pieces to stay put. It fits in a 2-gallon Ziploc. I will pull this out again at a family gathering. I think the adults will have fun with it, but it might be too frustrating for the kids.

Greater than one weekMy son and I did Puzzles when he was younger, but not recently. He thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle. His words, “it was harder than I thought!” Would recommend.

> 3 dayWhen my husband opened the package for this puzzle he asked why I got a little kids puzzle when our kids are teenagers. I promptly took it apart, mixed up the pieces and challenged him to put it back together. An hour later, he still hadnt succeeded. This puzzle is deceptively simple. Sixteen triangular pieces in a larger triangular frame with various butterflies (I think there are 6 or 7 different butterflies) along the edges of each piece. You have to arrange the triangles so that the proper butterflies line up along each edge to create a whole butterfly. The problem is, it is very easy to fit two sides, but not so easy to fit all three. There is only one right solution that will align all the butterflies, but there are seemingly infinite possibilities that dont work (Im sure the number of possibilities can be worked out mathematically, but thats above my pay grade). If you look closely, there are logical ways to start and proceed. Corner pieces, for instance, already have two sides given and there are only two or three pieces which will fit in any given corner. Then from there you can find other areas where there are only a couple of choices and try to eliminate them down to the correct fit. Using this bit of logic (and a whole lot of luck), I managed to complete the puzzle in about half an hour). The puzzle is made of reasonably sturdy cardboard, but Im not sure how well it will hold up with repeated use. It is also certainly not waterproof (much less glue, slime or other such substances), so it is best kept away from young children. Im also not sure how much re-play value this puzzle has. Theoretically you can solve it over and over again and it wouldnt necessarily get easier over time. But I wonder how many people will be motivated to do so - I cant say that I am. This is a decent puzzle for an older child or adult, but probably something best suited for a school, retirement home or other facility where it will get used by multiple people.

04-06-2025This Triazzle puzzle is almost the same as one I had many years ago, only smaller. The frog design appears to be the same, however this puzzle is, I’d guess, about 50% smaller than the one I had in the 1990s. This is actually a bit welcome, as the issue with the larger Triazzle puzzle of the past was sometimes finding a place to store it flat. The puzzle appears simple, but once you dump all the pieces out you’ll find that it’s not quite as simple as it looks, and just when you think you may have the puzzle solved, you may find the last few pieces just don’t fit! It’s a fun puzzle, the only issue is once you recall where a few key pieces go, it does become a bit easier. Even now, years later when working with the puzzle, my brain still recalls where one key puzzle piece goes, however, it’s still fun to figure the rest of the puzzle out! The puzzle is made well of sturdy board material. The puzzle pieces fit snugly, the printing is good, and overall it’s a fun puzzle!

> 3 dayVery fun but challenging puzzle. Took me quite some time to get it back together. Very sturdy cardboard frame and the picture is very nicely printed and detailed. Puzzles like these were always fun when I was a kid and they still are. I can see why they have sold so many millions. Highly recommended for kids or anyone that loves puzzles.

Greater than one weekThis dolphin triazzle puzzle is quite a fun challenge. It looks like it would be easy until you give it a try. Each piece is simply a triangle shape, but can fit in multiple spaces. The head area of a dolphin lines up with the tail along the edge and you think you have it until you continue on and run into pieces that dont go together. Really a great brain working problem solver puzzle that is great for all ages. The size is nice not at all big or clunky and can be easily stored in between games in the game cabinet. We are very happy with the quality and challenging fun of this puzzle and definitely recommend. Would make a great gift for families.

> 3 dayThis puzzle/brain-teaser sure is challenging. It REALLY works your brain. Good for those that are patient and enjoy a challenge. Some might find it frustrating, though. Hah ha. The game claims to be good for ages 8 and up. I can not imagine a child trying to solve this without getting frustrated or losing interest. Personally I think teens and adults are more suited – but what do I know – maybe I was a dumb impatient kid. : ) It is challenging and pretty. It is printed and constructed well. Everything is contained inside the main outside triangle border. The only thing is that I do wish it came in a reusable sleeve for storage. It comes in plastic shrink wrap but once you rip that open it is gone and you just have the board and all the pieces. I found a plastic sleeve from something else and inserted it to store. Otherwise, this is such a nice game/puzzle. Would make a good gift for those that like puzzles and a challenge as well. I hope that you have found my review “helpful”. : ) Enjoy your day! : )
