Think Fun Triazzle Picture-Matching Brainteaser (Dolphins) Puzzle for Ages 8 and Up (76491)

Well thought out puzzle and lots of fun. It kept my 10 year old son busy as you might think you’re on the road to solving it but the. discover you have to start over from scratch. I like that you have to use your brain a bit on this one, use problem solving skills.

I actually got these for my son who is 4 years old. I thought since its just a bunch of triangles they would be easy to put together. Boy was I wrong. I have yet to complete one. The one I got closest to is all done but the last 3 pieces. Thats what makes these so tough. You think you got it solved until the last few pieces.

Such a cute puzzle for the kids . Please be mindful that this will damage fairly easily

Looks like it would be so simple but it is not! One time I will pick it up and it almost puts itself together. The next time, I have spent hours on it and still don’t get it right! Good luck!

THE GOOD - Excellent family fun - Quite challenging, whether or not you think thats good but for our family, it was good. We had our 12 year old and 5 year old do it together. Kept them occupied for a long long time - Sturdy cardboard material - Makes for a perfect school sharing item Our five-year-old brought it to school for his Friday sharing day. Even the teacher got all into it and thought it was hard. THE BAD - Nothing WILL I BUY IT AGAIN? Yes as gifts for others since I have two already. :))

Very fun but challenging puzzle. Took me quite some time to get it back together. Very sturdy cardboard frame and the picture is very nicely printed and detailed. Puzzles like these were always fun when I was a kid and they still are. I can see why they have sold so many millions. Highly recommended for kids or anyone that loves puzzles.

My son really loves the butterfly theme. The board feels sturdy and seems to hold up well. The print quality is great, with sharp images and bright colors, no blurring or misaligned coloring. The pieces fit into the main board without too much crunching (which is good, because it prevents damage to the edges), but dont have extra looseness.

I should have taken the manufacturers at their word: it really is harder than it looks! This is very cleverly designed so that just when you think youve solved it, it turns out that you need to start over because you made a mistake right at the beginning. My wife grabbed this as soon as it arrived with an air of This is going to be easy. Two hours later she was getting pretty frustrated. I tried to help, but then I started to get frustrated too! This really is a head-scratcher. Unlike a conventional jigsaw, this clever puzzle misleads you into thinking youve gotten some of the pieces in the right place, on for you to later realize that you made some kind of mistake. I lent this to a friend who is an avid jigsawist--when I saw her two hours later she was still working on it. In short--this is really fun and deceptively difficult. I think Ill be buying the other two designs!

Got this origially as a gag for a friend to play with,who had missed seeing any dolphins on a recent vacation Then we both realised just how much more this (and one assumes, its stallmates) really can be for puzzle lovers Dont want to spoil the fun, but if youre a puzzler, get this! It;s intriguing as all get out!

This puzzle arrived quickly and is made of nice quality cardboard with vivid clear colorful printing- no odor. The puzzle board was shrink wrapped; however, the board arrived damaged on 4 of the 6 corners, the picture shows the plies of cardboard and the WORST of the damaged corners in the shrink wrap. I cant tell if the shrink wrap was too tight and split the corners-since the corners were exposed or if handing caused the damage to the corners- so Ill try to glue the multiple plies of carboard back together. I highly advise you to take a picture of the assembled puzzle prior to dismantling the pieces. It appeared easy enough...just 13 triangle puzzle pieces, but what makes this challenging is that 2 of the 3 sides may match multiple pieces. I passed this product to my husband to try and its been a half hour and hes still working at it. Just for my habit I will have to find proper storage for this puzzle board, a pouch or something, to keep all of the pieces intact and so the corners wont get damaged further from handling. Since I have 2 of these puzzles and will look to see if any more are available...I may just make a wooden storage box to house all of these triazzle puzzles to protect them and keep them together. The board measures 11.25 top to bottom and 12.75 side to side at its widest points. My husband did say that unlike regulkar puzzles without a perimeter, since this is recessed into a boundary board when you find youve placed a piece wrong it not easy to remove the one piece since there are no exposed edge so you have to pick the corner which may delaminate the puzzle piece. Overall, I would recommend these Ravensburger Triazzles. As for the cost...if you know whom the recipient is and that they enjoy and appreciate challenging brain teaser puzzles the price is right; however, I would not recommend this for someone that just enjoys a standard puzzle as they may get frustrated and not enjoy nor complete the puzzle- so for that the price wouldnt be worth it.
