I am happy with this sunscreen. We live in a beach community, so we are playing in the sun most days. We can spend 4-5 hours at the beach and do not get pink. I am careful to reapply, wear hats and sun shirts (after a few hours). It does not sting my kids. The only thing we do not like is the strong scent. It quickly disappears, but it is enough to make my son protest. It can be thick to spread, but I dab smaller amounts across the skin and then spread it. It rubs in easily and is not greasy or heavy.

Did several hours of research and found this to be the safest sunscreen (i.e., least toxic according to the EWG) at the best price (most others in this category are way more expensive, these are currently $3/ounce. I recommend shaking the bottle to reduce likelihood of consistency issues some others have reported. Actual effectiveness of sunscreen was slightly below other conventional (albeit toxic) brands, so apply more often.

Love that it is a safe sunscreen that rubs in pretty easily! I use this on my 2 and 5 year old and also on myself! We havent had any sunburns when using this product. It also smells great! I would recommend to those looking for a safe product for heir family!

There are few sunscreens that are on the only good stuff list - and this is one of them.

I have been using Thinkbaby sunscreen for a couple of weeks now. It has been working great, including a midday trip to the beach. It goes on thick, but disappears fairly quickly. Has very little scent. I have had no problem with it burning my childrens eyes. All around, a good product. Just wish it wasnt so expensive, but all sunscreen is.

Love this sunscreen. Scores well on the EWG ratings and easier to rub in to my daughters skin so she doesnt have a visible layer of sunscreen on her face and body. Seller shipped quickly.

After all the great reviews, we were very disappointed with this product. It may function well as a sunscreen, but it was so drying that after only one day of use, two people in our group complained of tight, dry skin after use.

I am dark skinned and normally only wear spf8. I am pregnant and wanted something safe to wear at the beach for the baby. I wore this (spf50) and applied many times throughout the day and received the worst burn I ever have in my life!! Very disappointed for the price.

Used this product on myself and grandchildren. Must rub in a lot to get rid of white coating. We applied twice in 6 hours and still got quite red from the sun. Was expecting it to protect better.

This is the best and safest does sunscreen I have found. Just be sure to put enough on. It rubs in well.

Thinkbaby Safe Sunscreen was the first sunscreen to pass Whole Foods Premium Care requirements, and has held the highest rating in EWG"s database since 2010 with a “1” rating. As a company, Thinkbaby targets products containing questionable ingredients and develops safer alternatives. We led the movement from BPA, with the 1st BPA-free baby bottle (2006) to the 1st insulated BPA-free sports bottle (2006). We brought the same focus to developing body care and sun care products. None of our products have ever contained avobenzone, oxybenzone, parabens, phthalates, PABA, or 1,4 dioxane, to name a few of the chemicals of concern.

At SPF 50+ with broad-spectrum protection for UVA and UVB, and the highest water resistance allowed by the FDA, you can expect a highly effective solution for your littles and whole family. We are strictly against the use of aerosols due to inhalation concerns to the effectiveness and safety for users and the environment. Our mineral based (zinc oxide) formulations go on smooth and absorb easily without leaving you feeling sticky or goopy.
