> 3 dayThe IVIIN T4807 dock is not bad but has some limitations that should be clearly understood before making a purchase choice. The dock does support 8K@60Hz but only when connecting one monitor to the dock via Thunderbolt 4 and not if connecting a M1 or M2 Mac. The dock more universally supports 4K@60Hz for a single monitor connected through all supported methods. The dock, when connected via Thunderbolt 3 or 4 and not to an M1 or M2 Mac, support two monitors at 4K@60Hz. When connecting two monitors out of the box, one will need to be connected via HDMI and the other via dongle which will be a DisplayPort connection. If you want to connect with a second HDMI connection, you will need to purchase a dongle for that. The included DC power supply is 130W which will allow for 85W of laptop charging, 15W for tablet/phone, and an additional 30W for the rest of the ports. This is important as many docks do not provide a sufficient DC power supply to give enough wattage to each. I found the price to be a little on the high side for this dock given that I believe most people will be looking to use this for two monitors and it does not support 8K for two. The price is not outrageous but just seems to be on the upper end and given that it is not exactly a household name for such devices I am unsure of its longevity.

Greater than one weekThis works as advertised! It’s connects USB-C to HDMI. Great for a variety of uses like connecting your laptop to the TV (great way to stream in hotels or travel) and connecting to a second display/monitor. No issues after the first days of use. Picture quality is fine.

17-11-2024So I got the new M2 Mac mini which I am thrilled with but it only comes with four ports (2 USB-As and 2 Thunderbolt / USB-Cs). With it I use: 2 monitors, a wired Apple keyboard, a speaker, and a webcam. That being said, I needed more ports. I was also having trouble with a long delay between waking up the Mac mini and my screen coming on (long like 15 seconds). I hooked everything up to this Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station and it worked great. My monitor came on less than 4 seconds after waking up my Mac mini. The keyboard is extremely responsive with no delay at all and all of my peripherals are working well. I am also using it to charge my iPad Air 5. The only con that I found is that it runs a little hot, especially on the top just to the left of the Thunderbolt icon. I wrote to the seller the night that I hooked it up and they got back to me within an hour or so (kudos for them for customer service). They said that the overheating was a normal phenomenon and that the device will dissipate the heat. If you are wondering if the overheating was because I was using it with a Mac mini (a device that does not have a battery), I thought that as well so I just used it solely to charge my iPad Air 5 and the docking station ran just as hot. I do turn this off at night just to make sure that it doesnt overheat but that isnt an inconvenience for me so I am fine with it. Overall I think this is a really good product and would recommend it.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed to connect my MacBook PRO laptop to my TV for streaming. The connection fits well, and the cable itself feels robust enough to last a very long time. A good purchase.

> 3 dayThis little HDMI to USB C adapter works very well. Simply plug in your monitor and into your USBC Port to instantly expand your viewing area. Used this little guy to hack my dock into allowing 3 external displays. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayPretty solid docking station, plug and play and supports various displays. The cables it came with are shorter and cheaper which is odd for a docking station in this price range. With that said, its super solidly built. It feels very sturdy and like if it were dropped it would survive just fine, but I dont plan on testing that out on purpose.
