> 3 dayThis is exactly what we needed to hang up our string lights on our back porch. After drilling a tiny hole, they screwed right in. They also come with drywall anchors if you are screwing into drywall, but we did not need those. Each book has a little latch to provide extra support and secure items neatly in place. These were very easy to use and sturdy!

> 3 dayI love that these hooks have latches on them! They seem to be made of quality materials and feel very sturdy. They were easy to install and now my Christmas lights will stay put! The latches are sturdy and spring loaded. I highly recommend!

> 3 dayThese hooks are great! Ive used similar C-style hooks before in my garage. I moved and in the new garage a standard C hook wasnt holding things reliably (theyd fall off) so I wanted to try an enclosed hook. I got these and they are awesome. The spring enclosure is far higher quality and feels more durable than I expected or was even hoping for. These are really well assembled! The hook size is a bit big for holiday lights, though you could use them for that.

> 3 dayThese hooks are strong enough for lights, plants, and many more uses. I like the spring loaded safety buckles. Nothing is going to fall of these hooks accidentally. The anchors included are adequate but I would advise to sink the screws into wood if possible. Useful for many things around the home.

> 3 dayHooks themselves are very nice quality. Comes with 20 hooks and drywall anchors if using that way. The spring loaded clip works like a carabiner and has a good amount of spring so it will definitely hold anything you dont want coming loose in the wind. State that they are rated for 40 lbs and they seem robust enough to match the sellers stated rating.

> 3 dayI have my outdoor lights strung through my plumeria tree and then draped on a light pole. For some extra sturdiness and to ensure the pole doesn’t tip or sag with time, I used these little hooks to attach a piece of small wire from the pole to the hook which I screwed into my siding. I like the snap in place closure and these are very sturdy. I’ll most likely use the rest for Christmas lights or other holiday decor.

> 3 dayThese hooks are sturdy and fairly easy to install in pine and fir, but a pilot hole is helpful in harder wood. the hooks will hold small hanging plants, solar powered lanterns, and I have two hooks mounted on a bookcase by the door to hold keys. I am planning on using the rest of the hooks in the package in the garage to hold tools at the ready.

> 3 dayTLDR: Great hooks for plants, larger light setups etc. but definitely a bit big for smaller string lights. The hooks are so large in comparison to these kind of lights that it is comical looking! But these are still great for larger items that need hanging! We originally got these to hang some fairy lights from our ceiling in our living room, but honestly they are a bit to big for these lights and it makes them looks a little silly. However using globe lights or large string light sets outdoors these would be perfect. They are made nicely and seem sturdy. I love that they close shut in case we do use them for more outdoor items so we won’t need to worry about anything blowing away! Definitely worth getting if you have lots of larger things to hang but may want to hold off if you have small lights etc and get a bit smaller size!

> 3 dayThere are two things that stand out about these hooks; 1) the threaded sham is longer than your typical hook. This provides adequate length to penetrate throught sheetrock into the stud or joist, preventing these from pulling out. 2) the spring mechanism prevents whatever the hook is holding from slipping off under any condition. Id definitely recommend them.
