Does not come stock with Official 360 secondary partition, which is required for the original Xbox backwards compatibility. This can be fixed, though, with the official 360 hard drive USB transfer cable, and some software (Google). This fix took about 5 minutes, if that. Works perfectly now, and a great price for the size.

As long as this thing doesnt seize on my Im happy. The storage space is a huge upgrade. I only had a 60 before this and Xbox live has started offering a new free x360 game for download every few weeks so the space will come in handy.

Many reviews speak of not being able to play original Xbox games with this hard drive, and that is likely true with the way Microsoft partitions their drives, and how much of a challenge it is to make a 3rd party drive have this partition. If you have no need to play original Xbox games, this drive works perfectly, and gives you a ton of storage past what the non-slim 360 normally can use. Good price, good drive, and I am very happy with it.

So far drive works great. Needed the extra space for all those free games from XBL. Totally worth it.

I used to have to keep installing and uninstalling. Drove me nuts. Taking great pleasure in installing absolutely every game i can get my grubby hands on and Im still only half way through!

This product is a value for the cost, so I selected this to expand storage drive space. It turns out to be as professional, as Microsoft brand equipment. Usually selecting only hardware designed, for original Microsoft equipment. Due to console hardware, that can require a Microsoft power core; no longer produced. This drive software configuration, was set for Standard Definition, it required a special cable, to jump to Hi-Definition video, [Fixed].
