They are waterproof and do what they are designed to do. I install wiring on vehicles for exterior lighting, spot lights, bed lights, ground effects, etc. These seal very well. And they seem to be well made.

The connectors are good but the shrink wrap takes too long and too much heat to shrink. It is definitely not water proof. I was misled by the number of great reviews.

I used it to hook up wires from a battery to a trolling motor and they work great.

Work well, shrink tube snugs up nice.
