Greater than one weekI upgraded my Macbook Pro Late 2011 with this memory set to increase my onboard memory from 4 Gig to 16 Gig. It was immeadiately recongnized by the computer and provided a significant increase in performance. I also installed a SSD which was somewhat difficult but with the help of youtube, I was able to do it. Overall, a very worthwhile upgrade.

Greater than one weekWanted to upgrade my Macbook pro Early 2014 and thought this would do it. Not the case, the memory is integrated into the motherboard. Got a refund, but not good that it was advertised that it could be done.

> 3 dayTried installing the 2 sticks of ram in the empty slots of my late 2012 27 inch iMac, but I got error beeps while trying to boot up. At first I thought I didn’t install the memory correctly, but after a few tries with the same error, I tried the 2 4gb modules in different memory slots. The computer then booted up and recognized the ram. After a few weeks of use, the memory seems to be working fine. My computer is noticeably snappier when multitasking (Siri loads immediately instead of taking 15+ seconds to respond and and the computer is generally faster when running multiple programs). I’ll update this review later if I encounter any problems, but it seems like good memory for the price!
