Greater than one weekTried installing the 2 sticks of ram in the empty slots of my late 2012 27 inch iMac, but I got error beeps while trying to boot up. At first I thought I didn’t install the memory correctly, but after a few tries with the same error, I tried the 2 4gb modules in different memory slots. The computer then booted up and recognized the ram. After a few weeks of use, the memory seems to be working fine. My computer is noticeably snappier when multitasking (Siri loads immediately instead of taking 15+ seconds to respond and and the computer is generally faster when running multiple programs). I’ll update this review later if I encounter any problems, but it seems like good memory for the price!

19-11-2024I ordered 2 8GB RAM to upgrade memory in my MacBook Pro to 16 GB. They arrived as promised. I had never worked on my Mac before. But with the right tools, I easily removed the back of the laptop, removed the 2 existing 4 GB memory components and installed the two new TimeTec 8 GB memory components that I purchased through Amazon, and viola! computer is better/faster!
